One time when I was high as fuck walking home from my friends house I saw a group of people dressed up in armor doing some historical reenactment infront of their apt. Nothing LARP-y mind you. Armor all looked pretty historically accurate and varied from leather to light plate. Naturally being stoned and curious I stopped and watched for a few until I noticed somebody staring back.
It was a dude in a tunic and a full plate helm standing at the top of the hill. Shoulders square, poster upright. Completely unflinching just looking back at me with eyes I couden't see. I guess he didn't like me gawking so I quickly scooted off. To date I still have no idea what the hell was going on, but that dudes stare still sticks with me as one of the creepiest but coolest things to happen to me in this city.
