College made me realize how little High School preps you for the actual world at large. I'm writing a talk show on free tuition and I realize how little I know about doing cohesive research and finding factual studies to source it. I'm tossing around concepts like income inequality and looking up college dropout statistics. I haven't even fucking used the rule of thirds once or talked about Mitochondria at all. You fucking lied to me Mrs. LeTourneau that shit wasn't relevant at all.

The rule of thirds is rly an art based concept u dont rly use it unless ur taking art classes [editline]20th September 2015[/editline] I've heard it like at least 8 times in my photo class so far

It's more a crack at that. I can't network for the life of me but I can draw fruit pretty good at least.
I poo'd so bad on the toilet I thought I was gonna take off like a rocket
I'm goin to the zoo today with an old friend who's moving away soon wanna make sure we have a good time before he goes <3 he's a cool guy. the only friend I've kept since high school tbh
I poo'd so bad on the toilet I thought I was gonna take off like a rocket
pls stop talking about going to the toilet all the time
Toilet humor is the best humor
It's cool how midi files can actually sound really good if you fuck around with soundfonts. I got a pretty good version of the Tetris theme using a midi and an NES soundfont.

I got a pretty good version of the Tetris theme using a midi and an NES soundfont.
All that MIDI files are are just note information spread out between multiple channels. Like midi is used on synths and in virtually all music production now a days. The "shitty midi" trend just came from microsoft's built in midi synth player that uses the general midi digital patches that are made to use up no resources and be a small as possible, hence the shit sounds. There is a reason midi is still the standard of today when it was standardized in 1983, because its fucking the greatest thing ever for any sort of synth player, producer, or sound engineer.
I'm trying to make a FF-style song because someone wants to pay me to. But it's hard to not turn it into some weird electronic rave stuff.
Like virtually all electronic music today, saying virtually because I can go off about control voltages but that is not on topic, uses midi in some sense. MIDI by itself is just note information, no sounds are truly "midi sounds."
Oh, I know. I used to work with midi stuff all the time back when I was doing projects in my music class. It's a really cool file format, although I wish it was less troublesome to load in soundfonts.
catch my shitty microsoft midi rendition of dmx's hit single party up

Wouldn't it just basically be sending the stuff to synths or whatever though? Man, that 16personalities thing that was posted last thread should really watch who they put on their "Famous people of this personality type" thing. I'm pretty sure nobody wants to be associated with Walter White, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump or Mel Gibson.

[editline]20th September 2015[/editline] Blame this for the shitty microsoft synth sounds.
You pretty much have to use a program that'll take the midi data and entirely skip the microsoft synth, and either have it masquerade as the MS synth so that games and whatnot that try to use it will read the new soundfonts, or you can just have it as an entirely separate midi device.
Man it's really sad to see how Factor 5 went down the shitter. They really were a pretty good company.

I've been using this for a while now.

That makes sense then.
Ah yes, We all must look up to Papa Putin! Thank you for correcting me! [sp]Don't worry you cool[/sp]
Damn straight  ZnT can't pick up on my jokes it seems.
