i feel like most "jokes" made here aren't made with any hate or discrimination mixed in. they're just jokes. but some people think that any joke that deals with any subject that isn't politically correct or whatever is a "bad" or "offensive" joke. things like gay jokes, race jokes, etc
it's especially relevant here because i feel like poe's law is in full swing every time someone posts and things are getting even a tiny bit serious

as long as it's a joke and not unironically offensive I'm ok with it
people try to bring things up and say something civil and points get twisted and misunderstood
it's not a conversation i want to involve myself in again
