Usually bands are cool about you taking photos of them during a gig, a lot are really gracious of it actually! The whole copyright on a music video thing might be pushing it but I think I'm reading it wrong, I'm seeing it as you want control over their video. (Probably not what you meant at all.)

They already have a music video for the song im thinking about doing, I was just going to email in and see if I can use their music for a video of my own, usually thats the best way of doing it without coming under unnecessary pressure

I mean, everyones hygiene differ to a degree, some people can get away without showering whereas others cant.
Im just lucky, in my class theres like 3-4 of us guys that actually take care of ourselves leaving the rest of the class mostly made up of other guys who very rarely wash and turn the class into dump. So when i forget a day or I woke up too late I can sometimes get away with it :cool:

It's only weird for the first few minutes until you meet someone at the show. Like I have said before, going to shows alone is really fun and gets rid of the whole "Are my friends having fun and when do they want to leave" pressure. You get to do everything on your own terms for a change.

I am like permanently sweaty so I cannot really get away with not showering every day. Also I like to be clean though so if I don't shower I can just feel the residual oils of my skin on my body and I am grossed out all day, even if I don't smell or anything.
I shoot at gigs, usually being the only person there; and while working im not that social either. But honestly its a nice experience and you always get a couple of people come over to you and make conversation.
