The history is pretty interesting because it's not really covered in history classes. Like sure there will be a paragraph blurb about the Stonewall Uprising but that is about it. I guess they will now have a sentence that says "Gay marriage was made legal in all states in 2015" but there is a lot more to it than those two events.

I like girls that look like guys so idk what I fall into. But for real I think gender is stupid and same as sexuality and you shouldn't have to put a label on what you think is attractive, nor should you have to put a label on what you think you are. Everyone is themselves and special in a sense.

labels for urself help to gather an identity. everyone wants to find a place for themselves and it's not rly fair to say "labels for gender/sexuality are dumb" because not everyone is afforded the opportunity to be defined by a thing that embodies a large part of who they are. so they take advantage of it when they DO figure out that there's a thing for it.
having a name for a specific part of yourself that you spend years being confused about is one of the greatest reliefs that can ever exist

Yea I guess but I kind of fell in the opposite camp. I never felt like a guy and was searching for a label but never found one I actually felt encompassed who I was. The way I see it, sexuality is kind of like a gradient, where no one is on the two ends but in the blobish part in the middle. What labels do is basically reduce the color bit rate of the image, giving distinct points in the gradient, just leading to more categories. My opinion is not very popular and many people say it's wrong, but it's just an opinion. It's more of just a thought that I want to expand overtime rather than a definitive thing.
