Here's some COD Creepypasta from yours truly. [sp]Actually it's more of a jokey stab at CoD but what the heck[/sp]
So being a seasoned shooter veteran, having seen them all from the first Castle Wolfenstine to Serious Sam 3: BFE (School quake speedrun champion 2005-2009, thank you very much) I Feel like I've seen it all. I could say I've played every shooter... well... ALMOST every shooter. See, the one game series I "missed" so to speak was Call of Duty from CoD4 onwards. My friends have been playing this, and supposedly, just because I haven't played one game I'm not a "proper gamer" I'm just a "casualfag" (It's worth noting one of them recently discovered reddit and has been using "x"fag with Unbridled Enthusiasm. Needless to say the word "INSUFFERABLE" comes to mind.) So, One day I pop round his house and he sets me off on the story mode on his Xbox. Two hours later, I'm done. Would have been faster but I spent most of my time wait for the game to let go of my hand and allow me to actually play. I say to my freind "That was a good MOVIE can I play a real game now?" So he tells me that I "Gotta play MP, that's where the REAL game is!" SO he sets me off on his profile with all the, and I quote "UBER LEET Guns! And all the Camos!" So i select a class and choose a Mid Range, low fire speed rifle with high accuracy. (a so called "crap!" gun.) And choose a sensible camo option (dusty yellow and brown khaki, the only maps are dusty desert cites, so it seemed logical) however that was "wrong" and I'm supposed to use bright garish gold on everything because "It looks EPIIIIIIC!" so I tell my freind, "Just shut up and watch this!" Midway through my first game, after a short period of learning the map I get the second tier kill streak, (A chopper gunner) and Utterly bemuse my freind with displays of accuracy, tactics and THINKING! At this point we run out of crisps so he say he'll head off to the shops and get some. The very second he closed that door, IT began. A new player joins with a name I assume was corrupted. It was all letters and numbers with no rhyme or reason to them. A little while after he had joined I heard this noise, This horrible, horrible noise. It was a shrill hight pitched whine distorted with static, like butchering a live kitten with a circular saw over a crappy Tannoy system. It was loud and horrible to the point that it almost caused my physical pain. It suddenly stopped however, I waved it off as a goof up on the part of the voice chat system. So I kill this new player a few times and the noise comes back. This time I can just about make out faint words. This Shrill "hell noise" Procalimed that it was going to "Fuck my mother" while my "Gay dad watched!" I could not believe what I was hearing! What kind of foul sick entity would want to do that? But it continued, I proclaimed that I was an abortion gone wrong! That It was going to find me and literally rape me to death. Now I've seen a few horror films here and there, but none of them come even close to the kind of Debauchery this being was screeching at me. It claimed it was the greatest and that it was going to destroy us all. By that point I had got my hands on the top tier kill-streak. That plane thingy that bombards the area below with explosives. The creature screeched once more. Proclaiming that "I must be hacking" and that he was going to get me banned. "Ban the N00b" it chanted over and over in the shrill screeching waling voice, like a chorus of the damned, doomed to repeat for eternity. By that point my head was pounding, I was terrified, this thing, this being, this DEAMON was determined to take my mortal soul and damn it to he bowels of hell forever! Rather than face another SECOND of this mental torture, I reached over to the Xbox and ripped out the power cord. At that point my Friend walked in, He said nothing, all he did was smile and nod. I can never look at a Call of Duty game ever again, if I so much as see a box, my ears start ringing and those horrible noises echo through my mind once more.
Oh my god the end to the Godzilla creepypasta was terrible [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] Just started playing LSD Dream Emulator, and the Violence District was the 3rd area I visited. :suicide: Actually it might have been the suicide district. I approached a streetlamp and a girl hanging from a noose appeared.

Uh oh. [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] Guys I think I've annoyed The Grey Man. I avoided him once, and after that he showed up three of four times in rapid succession. I think he wants to get me. I honestly think there's a creepypasta there, but if I were to write one, I would completely omit any overly supernatural elements, or the game influencing the real world in any way. y/n

Because, you see, I've heard a good deal of men say the code LSD: the Dream Emulator uses to put together its scenarios is seemingly litle more than an obtuse mess of programming errors, and that no person has every come close to figuring it out. Some say that men have gone mad trying to decipher The Dream Emulator's systems, and, hell, I've once been told that, I shit you not, the game can actually think for itself, that it can independently judge the player's actions on an almost human level, and adjust itself accordingly. I pray for the man who figures out how to piss the game off.

The Godzilla creepypasta was amazing, then the end snapped all love for it over it's knee and skullfucked it. Seriously, that was the worst ending for anything ever.
Add a hyperrealistic Grey man to that and you've got a creepypasta :v:
That actually reminds me. Back when I was about six, I ended up living in Japan for a couple of years. It was really an uneventful time, except for one thing. This one friend I had there, he had gotten his hands on a copy of LSD: The Dream Emulator from his uncle on his birthday. Now, I was just about his best friend, and the day after his birthday and his party the first thing he did was call me over to his place to try out the stuff he had gotten for his birthday. Now, to this day I don't know what had gotten into him, but he was ecstatic about The Dream Emulator. So, first thing we did was, we played it. We played, we played and we played some more. It was the freakiest game either of us would play for a long time, but we both loved it. Then, well. The grey man started showing up. He wasn't particularly hyper-realistic, and there weren't any hyper-realistic photos of our hyper-realistic family members being hyper-realisticly killed. But, well, we saw something in him beyond his role as an antagonist. We saw something unnatural, something horrifying in him. But, being brave little boys, we pushed on, figuring if we got far enough we'd find out the cause behind this thing that was haunting us in the game. So, we continued playing. He started showing up more often, arguably rendering our efforts pointless, but hey, we were kids. We figured if we kept trying it would work out eventually. Then, I remember one night, I had slept over at his place, and I had this nightmare. All I can recall is that The Grey Man played a major part in it. Waking with a start in the middle of the night I found my friend tossing and turning violently in his bed, mumbling something. I shook him, hoping to wake him, and, he started mumbling. He was fucking mumbling something, and the only thing my efforts seemed to do was raise the volume of his voice. I recall I was tempted to punch him, but right when I was balling up my fist, I made out a coherent phrase in his mumbling. Hell, right then I figured out the entirety of what he was saying. He was saying 'The grey man' over and over again, and had been doing so for God knows how long. I damn near screamed the building down, waking him up and probably waking up half the apartment block with him. And, well, we left The Dream Emulator alone after that event.

-snip- I am late
I really didn't like the Godzilla one, a lot of the new sprites and backgrounds looked so ridiculously out of place that I couldn't take it seriously.
And i didnt really notice how screwed up lavender town was untill fairly recently, even though it was rather in your face here. Even if I got pissed off everytime when it randomly popped out of Misty's backpack when it wasn't supposed to as a kid
I didn't find the Godzilla one scary or creepy. Just an ok story.
I dont get LSD Dream Emulator. Its super weird in a cool way but what is the Violence District etc. etc. ?
I dont get LSD Dream Emulator. Its super weird in a cool way but what is the Violence District etc. etc. ?
The Violence District is, for want of a better term, Hell in a city. The basic idea of it is, it's an empty concrete suburban area, with car-parks that aren't connected to anything, and street-lamps standing alone in the middle of empty concrete fields. And as you may have guessed, it is a violent, terrifying place; screams and gunshots wrack the stillness of the night, and bodies are found hanging from lamp-posts, falling down when the metal beams are shaken even lightly. The District is in a state of perpetual darkness, a black fog hanging in front of you wherever you go. Sometimes, you can see strange, vaguely humanoid shapes, darting and staggering from your left eye to your right before disappearing, their spectres showing up to haunt and stalk you again later. Random scenes of violence and depravity are shown in ernest, shaking your sense of morals like shredded paper in a glass of water. Dead bodies strung up by their necks, shaking in the chill breeze and men standing bolt upright, rifles in their hands and bloodied corpses at their feet. The Violence District is blood and depravity given form, and that form crawls and stalks and writhes at your feet until you are forced to stare it in the face, and see your bizzare dreams turned to macabre nightmares. It is, quite simply, the Hell in the back of your mind.

The godzilla creepypasta was great until the last two chapters. It was extremely cheesy.
Would anyone want to read a Warhammer 40k Dawn Of War creepypasta?
I don't know what I was thinking but I'm ashamed of myself.
once upon a time i bought a really old cartridge of super mario bros for my nes and it was dusty and shit and i was really excited to play it so i put it in my nes and started playing it but it wasn't normal the menu was pink and mario was naked and there was only "start game" so i started game and then i jumped on goomba and tv made screeching noise and then a pic flashed on my screen and i was all shocked and had a boner for some reason so i restarted game and tried again except next time pic showed up for longer and it was hyper realistic photo of mario naked with oversized muscles and i dont know why but my boner was so hard i couldnt see anymore and then there was weird noise and i saw hyper realistic semen on my screen and my nes shut down and weirdest thing is that later that day whenever id play a mario game id get inexplicable boners... then the next day i went to my friends house to show it to him and we played it together except that time it was normal then my friend left the room to take a shit and then it started happening when i beat bowser he said corrupted text that looked like a bunch of pixels except i could read "UR GAY" inside and then another pic appeared on the screen and it was bowser having anal sex with mario except instead of mario's face it was MY FACE and instead of bowser's face it was my friend's face and then i wanted to get up and tell my friend except I COULDNT GET UP because i was like paralyzed then i felt something pull my pants down and IT WAS MY OWN HAND and i couldnt control it and it started grabbing my dick and fapping and i couldnt do anything about it and i was so hot i couldnt even scream and then i saw realistic cum all over the screen and the nes turned off and i could move again and i was so scared i unplugged the tv and ran to tell my friend except i was naked and he laughed at me and we went out to look at the tv and my friend was all omg why is tv displaying white stuff and i was like omg i unplugged it so its not possible and we were both creeped out and ran out of the house and burned the nes and the cartridge and creepiest thing is that my friends tv still displays white stuff even when its turned off

ive always loved tf2 and i remember id enjoy every single cool update that came out back then when i played it with my bro until that day when i saw steam download a 69 mb update i remember i was kinda excited and all and started the game to do some badass local game with my bro against bots and it was fun all until my bro dropped a "haunted pppPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" and i was all omg wat is that and asked him to equip it but he couldnt find it in his inventory so we thought it was a glitch and kept playing but suddenly someone called eeeEEEEEEEEEEEE connected and we found it odd because it was a local game and people couldnt connect from outside and my bro was kinda creeped out but we kept playing anyway when the guy was done joining he joined a team but it was neither red neither blu it was nnnnnnnnnNNNN and i found it really odd but was really curious too as to what kind of arg valve could have added into the game and i really regret that i didnt disconnect from that point anyway we waited and saw the guy spam iiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIII in the chat before spawning in the middle of the map in a house we never saw before it was a high cylindrical house covered with a pink and black checkerboard with what looked like two large spheres at the bottom and his class was a class we never saw in tf2 it looked like a demoman except with a sniper head and huge pink hands then the guy saw us and started "talking" on voice chat except instead of talking it was loud static that sounded like SSSSSSSSSSSSS and thats when shit went downhill because we were teleported to a weird place we never saw before that looked like public toilets except 100 times bigger and with weird white spots on the walls and the guy somehow grabbed both of us between the legs with his huge hands and our views went into thirdperson and we saw our characters playing disturbing animations we never saw before while a faint sound it the background played like a quick alternance of AHHH and OHHH then suddenly both of our screens became a sickly white-yellowish color and at that point i was really scared and went to tell my bro that i would disconnect but my bro wouldnt answer and i was really scared and he slowly turned to me and his expression was weird like a creepy smile and he suddenly he jumped on me while screaming and ripped my pants off and started touching me where no one did before and stuck his thing into places id have never imagined and thats when my mother came in and saw what was on my bro's screen and was like paralyzed for a moment her eyes staring wide and then roared and jumped on me to put her fingers up every imaginable orifice and it was a truly disturbing moment and i think i fainted and when i woke up everyone was like normal and acting like nothing happened so i thought it was a dream but it was so traumatizing that i never touched tf2 again and also now every time i shit i swear i feel like my ass hole is twice wider than what it used to be before

FTFY
Thank you.
I'm trying to write a Skyrim creepypasta, but it's not going so well.
Ah, Skyrim. We've had such a short relationship. I used to love you so much - I even broke up with Oblivion in all its sexy, modded glory to be with you - but now I can't even bear the sight of you. Even the mention of an arrow or a knee is enough to make the nightmares come back. Oh, we've had such fun, but...No, never again. Our stand has come to an end. Where to begin with my most unusual tale? Maybe a little backstory would be nice, eh, reader? I bet you're wondering what I'm smoking right now. Well, I bought Skyrim on release day. I had wanted to pre-order it, of course, but I didn't have the money beforehand. Either way, Skyrim found its way into my hands after a several-hour-long download. I was instantly addicted. I played Friday afternoon through Sunday nonstop, then played Monday and Tuesday after calling "sick" to work both days. Still, I continued to play, although my scant free time between my job and hanging out with real-life friends really cut into this. One day, I stumbled upon the Daedric quest for Molag Bal. I'm sure that any of you who have played Skyrim are familiar with this quest, but I'll give a quick summary: You meet a priest, he asks you to investigate a house, house turns out to be the location of a shrine to a demonic god, demonic god tells you to damn somebody for him in return for an artifact. Oh, and the house also seems to be haunted. It was a fairly unique quest, mostly because of the whole "haunted house" thing, but I didn't think much of it - I had so much more to do in Skyrim, and I had seen plenty more fucked up things in my time video gaming than a few brooms flying around. Many days (and levels) later, I heard a friend mention something about a special event that can happen related to Molag Bal's house. Apparently, there was a secret that the developers had hidden deep within the basement of the house, far beneath the visible shrine you visit. One person had used the toggle collision cheat to hunt for closed-off or disconnected rooms and had found an empty pitch black area that immediately killed the player. I called BS, of course, but at the same time, I knew that a game like Skyrim could have many secrets. After all, the game was still very new, and the construction kit had yet to be released, which meant that it was nearly impossible to look directly at the game from the point of view of the developers and find secrets that way. My friend said that every once in a blue moon (literally, the moons had to be full at midnight) there would be a beam of light shining down near Markarth on a mountain that was difficult to access. It would light up a statue that pointed straight at the house where Molag Bal's shrine was. He added that no one knew what would happen if you touched this beam of light or if there was anything special there at all - no one had been able to reach it because your character would immediately die if you approached it, even with console cheats, just like the hidden room in the house. I was skeptical, of course - most video game secrets in this day and age tend to be debunked fairly quickly on the Internet, as opposed to the days where you and your young friends spread unconfirmed rumors like wildfire or received cryptic (and often false) hints from video game magazines. Still, I was intrigued, even with such a small tidbit of information. I loaded up Skyrim and travelled to Markarth. I then began a process of waiting until midnight, then scanning the horizon for beams of moonlight. I waited 33 in-game days, and, deciding that I would give up soon from frustration, waited one more day. Then, I saw it - a thin but distinct ray shining from the heavens far in the distance. I navigated toward the beam on my horse, but was stopped dead by a steep mountain near the edge of the game world. I dismounted, entered the "toggle collision" cheat, and floated my way up the mountain. As expected, my character suddenly died without explanation. I stumbled in midair, and the load prompt quickly followed. On a hunch, I reloaded a recent save that I had made at the sight of the moonlight and tried again, this time from a different side and angle. Once again, I died. I kept trying and trying and trying from all different possible ways of entry. Finally, I had an idea - what if I tried using a shout? I tried the clear skies shout...and the moonlight brightened. This time, when I tried to approach, there was no sudden death. I moved all of the way into the beam - which was quite blinding, by the way - and touched the statue of a crouched, panicking man in the middle. I was greeted by a loading screen with no image, text, or fog; it was a blank black screen. I waited excitedly for a few minutes. My enthusiasm was soon falling, and I was on the verge of declaring that my game had crashed until I bumped my mouse and saw stars on the screen - apparently it had not been loading at all, just removed the interface. I looked around in pitch black darkness, and I could make out the shapes of mountains in the distance where they occluded the night sky. The statue was nowhere to be found. The moons were no longer full - in fact, they were just black circles among the stars. I started moving around, and I could clearly hear that my character was making footstep noises. Sprinting still worked, but it did not last for nearly as long as it usually would for my character, and I could not see a stamina bar. I was completely unable to pull up a quick menu or draw weapons. I also couldn't open the tab menu and associated sub-menus. Saving and loading were disabled, as well. I explored for a bit, wondering what could be found in this dark field. I finally decided to just travel in a straight line and see if I could reach the mountains in the distance. After a good minute of running, a faint light became apparent far ahead of me. I could just make out a shape - the statue that had been in the moonlight earlier. It was much larger now, towering far over my character like the evil god Mehrunes Dagon in Oblivion. The eyes of the statue glowed red, and the blue moonlight also began to turn red and pulsate. I soon heard a voice, deep and ominous - it was indeed what I expected the voice of a demonic god to be, but it did not match the voices of any of the Daedra in Skyrim. "What is the color of night?" it asked in a low rumble, a strangely familiar question. A prompt came up onto the screen, a text input. I remembered now - this was the question asked before gaining entry to the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary in Oblivion. "Sanguine, my brother," I typed in confidently, pressing enter. The eyes of the statue dimmed, and the light around me faded to darkness. Then, that low rumble boomed through my speakers once more. "Welcome home..." I noticed that the stars were no longer visible - I was indoors. I walked around for a bit, but was soon interrupted by the sound of a distant, echoing scream. I jumped a bit, as it was pretty loud. A deep bass note, like that made by a large drum, reverberated as a dark red light suddenly flickered on. I was in a stone hallway with a low ceiling, and fog obscured my vision, preventing me from seeing the entire length of it. I proceeded in one direction. My steps echoed as I endlessly progressed forward, and there was no background music playing. Eventually, I came upon a sight that would likely be horrifying were I not a veteran gamer - blood was splattered everywhere, as were numerous bodies and gibs stacked to the ceiling. The way forward was almost completely blocked by them, but they seemed to form a narrow pathway. These rows of bodies seemed to continue for quite some distance as I continued forward. That was when I heard the whispering. Oh god, the whispering. I can still imagine it clear as day. At first, they were extremely low and inaudible. When I began to notice it, I dismissed it as my imagination, although it unnerved me greatly, considering that I was playing at midnight, slogging my way through piles of bodies and gore that would make Nazi Germany blush. Finally, the whispers became loud enough that I acknowledged that they were in fact real and not just some weird noise. Then the contents of the words being spoken became clear. "Run," they said. They began to pick up in fervor and pitch as they suddenly became much louder. That's also when I heard a thundering noise behind me as the screen began to shake. Suddenly, a roar - I turned around, but I could see nothing but more bodies. I turned back around and began to sprint away from the source of the roars. As I ran, I noticed the bodies to both sides reaching toward me, as if they were trying to grab me and let me be killed by whatever monster was chasing me. By this point, I was positively unnerved. Just when my character finally ran out of breath - which seemed to take much longer than before - I reached a small wooden door. I opened it and quickly closed it behind me. A loud thump sounded as the creature collided with the shut door moments later. It screamed in frustration and pounded at the door. I moved away into the gloom ahead of me. It was then that I noticed that, one, this new room was large enough that the only thing visible was the floor, and, two, that the whispers had quieted but were still going, although they were saying something else now that I couldn't discern.
I could use some help. And I'm trying to avoid the "OMG it's affecting me IRL" thing and just restrict it to recurring nightmares.
