I know that noone cares, but
Any update requests for the "book"?

I'm afraid I don't play it. Give me the basics, I'll see what I can rig up with some interesting cosmonaut theories I've heard.
Space Station 13 is a game where you live on a futuristic space station and take up a different profession each round. Rounds can last 15 minutes to three hours and every round something new will probably happen to you, whether it be you die a very heroic way or discover an extravagant alien artifact. Most of the time, though, you'll probably die a stupid but possibly hilarious way, such as being suicide bombed by an intelligent monkey. In short, Space Station 13 is a game where you will be running from insane chefs, annoying clowns, and you might just discover something interesting while you're doing all of this. There's also fun and unique game-modes to play, like Wizard, which is fun for the wizard but most of the time torturous to his victims.

Space also has many secrets like [sp]A Russian station that looks abandoned, but there are still supplies left. If you enter it you'll see that the power isn't working and that there is blood everywhere, it won't take long before you notice there's someone eating you.[/sp]
You can check out the thread if you want to find out more. Or play it yourself, it's free. But it has a bit of a learning curve.

Alright, I'll try and work something out. It might take a while though, both my arms have gone limp for some reason. Which is a little worrying.

"And then the clown emerged from the shadows. He was holding a cleaner grenade and what appeared to be a wrapper of some sort. His mask was bloody and his shirt was torn. He looked like he wasn't thinking at all, until he showed a big, fanged grin from behind his mask. And that's when the HoS knew. The clown had gibbed Mr. Rathen. *Thunder*."
Wow, LSD, just...
The title LSD is perfect, as this game is the shining example of the WTF!
Oh, and its a shitload creeper than Amnesia will EVER be, I mean, damn.
I just had this weird run-in: found a girl, her head fell off, and her body chased me.
If you haven't played this yet, get it. You will not be let down.
Where can I play LSD Dream Simulator? I really want to play it.

You know, Fallout 2 had a lot of unfinished stuff in it. Questlines, NPCs, entire locations, equipment, random encounters, all sorts of weird stuff.

One thing ruined the scariness for me.

[sp]This is actually from a random encounter in the regular game. If you pass through this, you find yourself in Vault 13, 80 years before, and have to break the water chip in order to come back[/sp].
So, like I said, [sp]the screens in the story are actually composed of various in-game stuff.[/sp]

I used to play on some server with the RPG mod, I think and everyone loved that map because of the helicopter, in the end, everyone left and I was charged with murdering the shit out of R. Boderman by myself.
Ammo Regeneration + Minigun = <3 4eva!
I'm reading the Godzilla creepypasta right now, and I've got to say that I find it a mix of creepy and funny. I know Red is supposed to be scary but I can't help but laugh at his stupid-looking face.
I'm at the part where [sp]Red eats the "Angel" like an asshole and looks at the screen.[/sp] I, personally, fucking hate when 'things' look at me. It's so goddamn unnerving for some reason.
I think the face is supposed to resemble a skull
Just finished the Godzilla pasta.
... My name is Zachary, too. When I first saw that, I shat so many bricks I could build a 4-story building.
Great read for the most part, though. Lots of the sprite work was just funny, though.
I'm still working on a plausible LSD creepy pasta, but it's going to take a while what with deadlines for assignments. I'd post some of the WIP but it currently reads like a big lump of dogshit

That part made me laugh hard. It's creepy the first time, but the second time [sp]when his eyes light up and he goes all mad[/sp] I just burst out from laughter. :v:

That was pretty good, actually. But it has humor in it for the robusters. I'd love it if someone made some more short SS13 stories like this one.

Hm, the skyrim one from last page is pretty good, aside from that, I suppose it'd be best to wait 5 pages before proposing an update.
ST13 was good at times, but the lag was simply too much.
We need a better server hoster without the horrid amounts of lag.

The only reason I never got into that game
I understand that it's awesome, but lag is HORRIBLE on every single server for me
Any good halo creepypasta thats not about reach or skulls?
I'd been with Nanotrasen for the better part of a year by the time it happened. Orbital Plasma Relay 45 wasn't a bad place to work if you ignored the assistants, the clown and the moronic janitors. Our neck of Jupiter's Orbit was hardly what you would call tumultuous, and in fact aside from someone beating the shit out of the clown it'd been pretty quiet the week we'd found the crate drifting through space, only to collide with the Research Outpost. On account for the fact the Research Team had access to some pretty volatile chemicals, not to mention the highly flammable, highly explosive Plasma itself, but it wasn't often that the Outpost got its own security detail. The Captain wasn't stupid, far from it, and he'd decided that hauling in an unidentified container could potentially lead to disaster.
“While we appreciate your presence, Officers, I'm afraid I don't see why it is necessary to have the Head of Security on board the outpost.” said Dr. Harken, the Research Director. He was an okay guy for an Egghead, but I knew he didn't think much of me, or the men under my command.
“RD, I can assure you it's just a precaution.” I smiled as he cringed; I knew he hated being called RD. “We don't know what's in that box. It could be an alien, it could be explosives, it could even be a sydnicate operative. We're not taking any chances here.”
Dr Harken gave me a cold look but I knew he couldn't deny the risk; the crate was unidentifiable, mostly due to the fact the only writing visible on it was in Russian, which none of us could read. I looked to the two security guards that had accompanied me, Biggs and Marston. They were good guys, if a little green. Biggs nodded to me almost imperceptibly, as if to reassure me (not that I needed it. I'd served on three other stations before Orbital Plasma Relay 45, and it took a lot to scare me these days.) I returned the nod, and left along with the others as the scientists scuttled off to ready their tools.
I found myself staring out the window, the distant orb of Europa visible, the station itself visible in the foreground as its lights twinkled, completely cut off save for the single shuttle that linked it with the Research Outpost. I felt the reassuring weight of my Energy gun in its holster, one of the few lethal weapons availiable on the station; only the captain and myself were cleared to carry weapons capable of doing anything more than incapacitating someone, and aside from an accidental weapon discharge from the captain we'd never had the need to fire them aboard Orbital Plasma Relay 45. My headset buzzed in my ear as Dr Harken asked me to join him as they broke through the crate, and I quickly turned to make my way there. We were using the lobby outside of the Research Director's office as a makeshift workshop, with the Research Director and myself stood behind the security checkpoint nearby, protected by little more than a sheet of Plexiglass and metal if it turned out the crate was explosive. I watched as Marston stood beside the crate, flanked by two members of the science team as they readied their power tools to cut through the locks and welded metal that bound the crate closed.
“It's a reinforced lock. We'll need to use the precision laser to break through it.” reported one of the scientists, his face lit up for a moment by his efforts to cut through the first padlock. “They've welded the hatch shut as well. Whoever wanted this closed wanted it to stay closed.”
“Carry on.” replied Dr Harken, and after five or ten minutes had elapsed the first lock was off. This carried on for some time, long enough that Biggs had excused himself to visit the restroom when the last of the locks had been cut through and the welded metal had been cut apart enough that, with enough brute strength, the hatch could be opened. Marston and one of the others grabbed the handle of the crate's hatch, bracing themselves against the heavy metal object as they began to heave and pull in unison, the metal groaning in protest before squealing apart, the hatch flinging itself open and sending the two men falling flat on their arses. From the crate erupted a thick cloud of smoke similar to the kind given off by dry ice, and before long our view of the room before us was completely obscured. I activated my headset in alarm.
“Marston! Report!”
“I'm fine, sir.” Marston replied. “Can't see shit, though. I think I see something in the crate, but I...”
Marston was cut short as a blood curdling scream erupted in the smoke filled room. I heard movement, and the pounding of feet against the floor tiles. There were sounds of a struggle, followed by the familiar crackle of a tazer being discharged.
“Shit!” I shouted, drawing my own weapon as I moved to open the airlock, another scream sounding as a jet of blood spattered itself against the glass. Marston shouted something, discharging his tazer again before being cut off, his voice descending into a wet gurgle. I opened the airlock, bursting into the room as I tried to locate someone, anyone still alive and mobile within the smoky room.
I almost tripped over the first body, the scientist with the laser lay on his back, his throat slashed open, his once pristine labcoat stained scarlet with his blood. The others in the room also appear to have been murdered brutally, bloody wounds dotting them bodies as they appear to have been dispatched quickly and mercilessly. I finally found Marston slumped against the airlock, his tazer still smoking as his head hung forwards, obscuring my view of his face. I kneeled beside him, noting the bloody stains on his vest as I gingerly reached out to move his head back. I recoiled in horror as I saw what had happened to him.
His face had been torn apart by some manner of edged weapon, his cheeks sliced apart to reveal in some cases the teeth below them. The lacerations continued up to his ears in a grotesque smile, the look of horror in his eyes forever immortalising his final moments, no doubt filled with agony. I stood slowly and turned to see a figure in the smoke. He stood incredibly still, more a statue than a man. I could not make out any features through the smoke, although I judged him to be a tall man, well built and with a pale face. We looked at each other for what seemed to be an eternity, When he spoke, I felt a cold, heavy dread in the pit of my stomach that I'd never felt before.
S m i l e : )
And with that, he was gone.
Anyone who's played SS13 will know this guy is the scariest thing about that game.

I. Fucking. Hated. The. Fucking. Clowns
I'm going to need to go back to therapy now. Thanks for reminding me, douchebag.
I tried, I tried.
It's not a creepy as I planned it to be.
Oh well.
Have you ever heard of a game called LSD Dream Emulator? It's a trippy PSX game made in Japan in 1998. It's meant to simulate a dream, and it does this by being WEIRD
AS FUCK. The dreams randomly change. There are different zones, and you are randomly sent to one of them each time you "link" (I.E. go to another dream). At least, it
seems random.
See, it is seemingly impossible to choose where you will link to. Your actions don't seem to change the zone nor the things in the zone at all. Even standing still
seems to have no effect. This leads to a feeling of confusion, and actually makes the game more creepy. But the question isn't "Is this game weird?" because the answer
is obviously yes. But the question here is "How did they do that?"
The usual theory is that it's just a bunch of random numbers, generating zones and items. This would be a great theory, and actually seems to be correct, until you
consider what the game seems to be doing.
The game can feel you.
I don't mean a perverted "feel you", but the game can figure out what you're actually feeling. How it does this, I do not know, and I doubt that anyone but the
programmers of the game know this. No matter what you try to do during a dream, the dream doesn't seem to change. That's because it's using your emotions. The "Upper-
Downer" screen isn't telling you what you did in the dream, it's telling you what you were feeling for it to make the dream that way.
Now that's all fine and dandy, but there's more to the story. Sometimes, in a dream, a gray man will appear. He will appear seemingly randomly, and approach you. If you
don't dodge him, he won't link you. He will disappear in a flash. This is a creepy occurance at best, and is probably best to be avoided anyways, since touching him
causes you to no longer be able to visit that dream from the "Flashback" section of the menu. But he isn't just some low poly chunk of bytes that keeps you from coming
back.
He's the enemy.
The antagonist. The dragon to your Saint George. His appearances may seem random, but they actually happen to occur when your thoughts are wandering. Your emotions are
changing. He wants to keep you in the same mood, so he can keep you in the same place. What happens what he finally acheives his goal is unknown. Whether it never
happened, or no one has ever bragged about it, I can't tell you. But it's not going to be a picnic. There's a challenge in every game, and this is it. The one challenge
in the land of dreams.
Now, the final thing I'm going to talk about is ENDING.STR - the end to the game. This file is supposedly what plays when you finish the game, when the entire chart is
filled. This is seemingly impossible, because of the "randomness" of the upper-downer system. There is a video on YouTube of this ending, but it has nothing to back it
up and is as such unsubstantiated. So as far as we know, no one has watched ENDING.STR and told anyone about it. You'd think that you could just pop it into a PSX video
converter or something, but the file isn't valid. Whether they encrypted it (for some reason) or left off a few bytes just to mess with us, I have no idea. All I do
know is that who ever sees that ending video may be the first to know the secrets of LSD.

I wish I could get into space station 13. It's just the input lag. I can't deal with the input lag no matter how awesome the game is. It makes it difficult to even learn because I can't tell whether what I'm doing is having no effect or if the game is just lagging.

See this? Make a creepypasta about it.
my god, that skyrim CAQS command...
I didn't crashed. but my movement was disabled and turned into a werewolf and couldn't access my menu.
Creepy thing is that i was stuck in a long hallway that seems ancient.
so i tried CAQS again.
changed to human form, cant access the menu. but the place changed again. i ended up in a Very old dwemer like place and standing upfront to a large golden dwemer Gate. i still cant move.
I don't know but that thing was eerie, no sound or anything.
i had to quit and load a previous save before trying the CAQS.
Potential to be a creepypasta is sooo close.
Not really scary :/
Not really scary :/
Not all creepypasta's are meant to be scary.
Some just give you a sort of uneasiness and confusion.

Even if you don't turn that whole thing into a creepypasta, you could pretty easily make one with a 'there's a quest that isn't meant to be completed, when it gets completed by caqs, all hell breaks loose and the game fucks your face' approach
Even if you don't turn that whole thing into a creepypasta, you could pretty easily make one with a 'there's a quest that isn't meant to be completed, when it gets completed by caqs, all hell breaks loose and the game fucks your face' approach
When you try caqs, a lot of text boxes open up that you have to close. the text are different each time. something similar perhaps.
Whats creepy is you keep shifting over places and some lines are spoken (like something about a quest for a daedric prince.)
Female goddess sort of voice but you cant see then you shift to another place. she continues to talk through the shifting and loading screens, then the shifting and talking stops and the screen goes blurry and normal quickly only to see your going up directly from the shrine where you can start the quest to get the dawnbreaker. i was stuck when the view shifted to normal. everything stopped and your high above skyrim. you have to restart at that point.
I dont know how many people get to that.
I wonder if there are any creepy pastas that don't rely on a glitched or wasn't supposed to be released version of the game.
