Didn't we promise not to make fake creepypastas? That have ruined the previous threads
Is it just me or is LSD not that creepy? I remember playing it a few years back and I wasn't that scared. Is it supposed to give you nightmares, then when you play it again, you start imagining stuff because of those nightmares? [editline]1st January 2012[/editline] At the most, my heart dropped a few times, but I just got used to the randomness of the game.

You'll see things out of the corner of your eye and other things due to the randomness in the game.
Ever been to the Violence district? Yeah.
I posted this before, but I think it's the best thing I've made to describe the District to those who haven't played until that point.
The Violence District is, for want of a better term, Hell in a city. The basic idea of it is, it's an empty concrete suburban area, with car-parks that aren't connected to anything, and street-lamps standing alone in the middle of empty concrete fields. And as you may have guessed, it is a violent, terrifying place; screams and gunshots wrack the stillness of the night, and bodies are found hanging from lamp-posts, falling down when the metal beams are shaken even lightly. The District is in a state of perpetual darkness, a black fog hanging in front of you wherever you go. Sometimes, you can see strange, vaguely humanoid shapes, darting and staggering from your left eye to your right before disappearing, their spectres showing up to haunt and stalk you again later. Random scenes of violence and depravity are shown in ernest, shaking your sense of morals like shredded paper in a glass of water. Dead bodies strung up by their necks, shaking in the chill breeze and men standing bolt upright, rifles in their hands and bloodied corpses at their feet. The Violence District is blood and depravity given form, and that form crawls and stalks and writhes at your feet until you are forced to stare it in the face, and see your bizzare dreams turned to macabre nightmares. It is, quite simply, the Hell in the back of your mind.
So, yeah. It's a bit scary.

I might pick it back up again, and hopefully make it to the violence district again (That was the only other part that made my heart drop other than the beginning parts since I wasn't used to everything yet). I'll see if I get scared, but hopefully I don't get bored on the 30th day.
THIS STORY IS TRUE. Do not try to add this to the Horrible Troll Pasta section. This is a real experience of mine.
Ha.
Recently, my friend was acting strange. He was inviting me to games on Playstation Network after it was recently recovered in our state. He invites me to GTA IV, but when I join his games, he leaves, and the game ends. He has sent me pictures of ice cream trucks from Grand Theft Auto, nothing out of the ordinary. He sent me his hard drive with his saves to prove what was going on, but nothing too bad happened. A few glitches, such as people with clothes that aren't usually seen, or cars exploding after landing in water. But this night was a different night. I loaded his file, and as I left the safe house, no one was walking the streets of Liberty City. No cops, no peds, no one. I spawned a NRG just to go around and check out the world. No one was around, just me. Then I heard it. That tune. It was the first ice cream truck jingle. I changed my camera to see an unmanned ice cream truck chasing me. As the chase led on, I was nearly destroying the thing. The jingle became more distorted as the truck broke, as usual. Finally, it failed to start up, I heard the engine try to start. But, eventually, IT STARTED. This time, the music was different. It was Liberty City Hardcore, backwards and distorted. It wasn't moving, but the car made hyper-realistic smoke and fire. Eventually, the game crashed. I checked my hard drive, no damage. I managed to get the video with my capture card. At least, I thought I did. I accessed my computer only to find the file read: 666.avi. It was corrupted data. I've tried many other methods of capturing the footage. Audio ends up like 666.mp3 and corrupted, pictures 666.jpg and corrupted, etc. I can't contact my friend. He won't answer my calls, texts, or emails.

I managed to rip this from the corrupted file. This is the song after the ice cream truck has broken down. I'm too scared to get any further into this right now, but I'll update soon.

I've added this to the Mental Illness category. It's taking a toll on my health already. I couldn't sleep last night, I had terrible nightmares, at school, I opened a bathroom stall to find 666 carved all over the walls, only to find out it wasn't really there.

I know, it's been forever since my last update, but I've looked really hard into the segment of my adventure. I recieved a phonecall in real life after school. It was an unknown caller. It was really creepy, in the background screams and injuries (like bones cracking or flesh ripping) could be heard, and a demonic voice told me to back away, that I was warned, and that next time would be serious. The worst part was, when I tried to record it, the audio was me talking to no one. The call was never recieved in the history, and we never got it on the phone bill. I'm really frightened, guys... There's no real point in uploading the audio, I'm not gonna find any clues in it.

"I'm done with the game." Those were the final words I told my friend before he died. Apparently, when my friend tried turning on his PS3 to play the game, it sparked and there was a house fire. The police thought that's what killed him, but I knew it was much more. When I went with his parents to the morgue, I knew that his mangled face wasn't only burnt. He had blunt trauma that the police brushed off as some sort of damage from the ceiling crashing in. But it was much worse, like a hammer went in his head and was yanked out quickly. The hard drive was left in the PS3, and in no way will I be rummaging through the ashes to find it, even if it wasn't destroyed. Anyways, this case is solved. I will not mention by who or how for safety reasons, but it is over.

Ha.
I swear I read that before the whole Sony incident.
I remember the good old days where skeletons popped out of things more often.
No. Skeletons popping out are a shitstain on the fabric of good creepy stories, and anyone who approves of bad creepypastas should go stand in the corner and wear the dunce cap. *checks crate of Dunce caps* I wonder if I have enough...
he's not hyper-realist also needs looping
I thought making it go once would add to the effect. It's a hyper-realistic glitch in the hyper-realistic post on this hyper-realistic website. It makes my hyper-realistic brain hurt.
i was reading all of these and thinking "these aren't scary" my mother then told me to go upstairs to get her phone "oh, the darkness" "oh, THE HORROR"
What am I supposed to be seeing?
Look at the bottom left of the TV - thats that japenese god, or something? The one that was in that hell level about that game with the dreams? I think the game was called yume niki, cant remember what the thing was called.

LSD is 1998.
Could be something like the Scream guy or just a generic stretched screaming face. Nonetheless it looks a little unsettling.

So after reading some of these, I figured I'd have a shot at it. It's not finished, it just sets the stage (sorta). If people find it interesting enough, I'll finish it, if not, I won't waste my or anyone else's time with this. Hope you enjoy it.
Alright, so here's the deal. I'm not an avid gamer, not at all. I would occasionally play some flash games when I got bored, but that's the most intense gaming action I got myself into. That is until I got introduced to Dragon Age: Origins by a friend. I started playing it whenever I got the chance, starting out on easy, considering my gaming experience, that seemed like the best choice. The I started moving on to normal and ultimately to hard. I succesfully completed the game on each of these difficulties, and then it was time to move on to nightmare. Little did I know how literal I could've taken that. I kicked off the game as usual. Once again, starting as a male Human Noble, because I never really found myself too fond of playing as another race. I noticed that, when I highlighted the area, my character's name wasn't displayed. As a matter of fact, no one's name was displayed. Fortunately, I remembered most NPCs' names thanks to my previous playthroughs, so it wasn't that much of an issue. I moved on until the massacre started. After taking care of Howe's men and finding my 'mother', I found my character's brother's son and wife, Oriana, murdered. This time, however, I could loot Oriana's body, which contained a note called 'Plea for help'. When I tried to read it, it appeared to have been corrupted. Apparently the font required to read the note didn't make its way into my game. My Journal and Codex updated anyway, so I checked those. I couldn't find anything in my journal, not even under completed quests. I did find a Codex Entry, though. It was titled 'Molagim', but the text was in the same incomprehensible nonsense as the note itself. When I closed the Codex, the corpse I looted started floating and it kept saying '...groan..' above it. I assumed it was just a glitch and continued the Origin story without further problems. After I arrived at Ostagar, I called it quits for now and started searching the Dragon Age Wiki for some information about this 'Molagim'. Molagim sounded like a name, so I assumed it was a character or a boss or something. To my surprise, I couldn't find a single entry mentioning the note on Oriana, let alone an entry about this Molagim. I decided to try my luck on Google, and sure enough I found a link to a topic on the Bioware forums. The title was simple enough: 'what/who/where is Molagim??' To my surprise, it appeared to have been deleted, but fortunately, Google had cached it. The thread consisted out of two posts, the OP and a single reply. The OP was something simple along the lines of: 'pls i need this for 100% completion thx!!' The reply was short and straightforward: 'Troll.' I considered PM'ing the OP, but figured that it wasn't worth the effort; I wasn't after a 100% completion playthrough after all. That night I had a dream. I don't recall most of it, but I'm positive that at some point, it was about Molagim. Funny how that stuff can get to you. A couple of days later, when I had some time to spare, I decided to continue on my new character. Oddly enough, the game wouldn't launch at first. The screen would go black and I could hear the music of the main menu playing, but that was all. The music sounded a little... off, but that could've been my new stereo setup. I'm kind of an audiophile, so I tend to notice stuff like that. Nonetheless, I managed to launch the game through compatibility mode and by running it as an Administrator. I loaded my save, but I wasn't at Ostagar. I was seemingly at one of those 'Random Encounter' spots, and it looked a lot like the one that's flooded with spiders. Only this time, there were no spiders to be found. Nor bandits. Nor Darkspawn. There were, however, human-shaped pods. Some just hanging from the trees, others just lying around, and some were in some rather bizzare positions. The majority of them seemed to lack textures and spider rag, which made the encounter even more awkward. All of them were lootable, and all of them contained the same item. A 'Plea for help'. Everytime I read one, and they were unique items because they didn't stack, my journal would update. When I tried to leave the area, the game froze, ending up with me having to resort to a hard reboot. The encounter freaked me out a little, so I called my friend, who can be described as a Dragon Age saint, and asked him what was up with these strange notes. As expected, he didn't have a clue, so I told him to look up the topic I saw earlier. When he said he couldn't find it, I told him I'd send him the link later. Thing is, I couldn't find it either. Not even in my browser history. Every damn link I had visited for the past weeks was in there, but not that one. The only thing I could think of, was contacting the maker of the topic. I managed to remember his username and easily tracked him down. I sent him a PM asking whether he had found 'who/what/where Molagim' is. The guy seemed to be a fairly regular poster, so I figured I'd get an answer soon. And I did.

Uboa. Apparently LSD is a time traveler now. Yume Nikki is 2003. LSD is 1998.
LSD is a multi-dimentional game from the future!!! 2012 mayans are behind it!!!! On a serious note, it does bear an uncanny resemblence to Uboa, at least in my opinion.

It isn't too unique, but it doesn't fail at any of the normal Pasta pitfalls and I'm intrigued to know what'll happen. I say you should expand on it.
