Acacius the Golden Light, however, don't really know about him; he's more of a Chekov's Pokemon (like Chekov's Gun, only he's a monster that fights for you) if anything, gifted to the protagonist by the chained spirit of Melissa, for one last brutal stab through Red's black heart.
But concerning Solomon (Still The Best 1973), goddamn that dude was a bro. Formerly an ally of Red, maybe even his former right-hand monster, he turned away from his former evils and teamed up with Face and the Goodzillas to take down the demon king that Red probably was.
As for the Red Godzilla cartridge, it might've been an SCP of some sort, using memetics and mind-reading to test the player.

What can I say, i'm a writer. Not a great writer but I have my moments.
Also the Melissa as Red thing would be quite the twist, though a similar thing would be if Red was Melissa's "other side", which simmered over the years of death until it nearly overwhelmed the main Melissa, extending it's influence to corrupt the NES cartridge. Maybe the cartridge was in the truck that killed her that night and her soul became bound to it, with her dark side drawing inspiration from the giant monster theme of the Godzilla NES game until it became the demonic megakaiju Red.
