the title itself makes me laugh

is it possible to get a rom for this game?
Yeah, but you have to dig a bit
I got it from last LSD facepunch thread
Sorry I don't have the link now
What was the game that had one of the characters email you?
There's a Puzzle game i played called evidence the last ritual, where the investigation characters in-game email you on your real email account and you can talk to them via email. you also use the actual internet to solve clues
[sp]even the serial killer from the game sends you death threats and taunts[/sp]
Did we ever get answers to the GTA: San Andreas bigfoot legend?
Yeah.
It doesn't exist.

So, after some work I present you the awfully made creepypasta book v1
Link
The reason page numbers are lacking (and some other stuff) is that I have accdentally saved to docx instead of openoffice format (I used libreoffice) before exporting to pdf

I just got it, and my heart was pounding the first five minutes. So damn weird. I LIKE IT!
Oh god why do I read creepy pastas at night,I always end up turning on everysingle light in the house.
The one issue with the Godzilla Creepypasta was that it was written in blocks so in between forum posts the writer discussed it.
Far from ruining the creepypasta it just helped cure that time delay middle of the night effect Creepypastas have.
I suggest you read it via the blog that contains the full story without having to scroll thought the damn forum.

That Godzilla creepypasta was so fucking good, some of the parts genuinely disturbed me.
Even walking down a dark hallway in my house, I imagined the 'Run' part of the story, and felt immense paranoia.
The Godzilla one made me giggle at some parts :v:
What do some of those things have to do with godzilla at all
I think that's the point. Godzilla is bloody silly, so the author diverts attention from the fact that his avatar is a thousand foot lizard.
Also, Solomon is metal as fuck.
Gonna play LSD: Dream Emulator. I've seen numerous playthroughs, but I'm quite nervous actually.
damn it one of the questions on the godzilla creepypasta was
'do you feel blame'
damn it. the pasta is now charles manson

http://nesgodzillacreepypasta.blog.com/
I was thinking about using that link instead, but decided not to because of the banner. My favorite part of the series was anticipating what manner of spritework wonders were going to be revealed with each new section, and my personal defining moment for the whole thing was the shock of first encountering[sp]Red[/sp]; but in the blog you have to actually scroll past a sprite compilation (even including him) to get to the first chapter.
It was honestly one of my favourite creepypastas. If someone managed to remake the pasta as an actual game file, it'd be pretty cool to play through, even if it didn't have the same memetic effects as were described in the creepypasta.
Solomon was the best character in the whole game. Coincidentally it's the name of my Khajiit "Spelltank" (heavy armour, dual-caster of Destruction) in Skyrim.
Still The Best 1973.

Soon as I get Gold with my wad of dosh coming in, that's gonna be my avatar.
But I've always wondered; could you simulate the fourth wall breaking like that with newer technology? With voice recognition and such, you may be able to have an in-game character stare into your soul when you insult him. Plus, now that we have controller-less motion detection, you could probably penalize a player for trying to get up during the middle of a fight.
So, theoretically, all the things that happen (aside from [sp]actually hurting you, killing loved ones, knowing who you are, and trying to vaporize you[/sp], obviously) could actually be programed, with Kinect and shit.

Knowing who you are wouldn't be too hard today seeing as most companies wants facebook to be integrated into everything, hell' it's only a short change in the Terms of agreement away to be a reality.
Y'know, i've been wondering; if the Kinect had super-high resolution image-capture, and was capable of recognising all the little things about you, in a similar vein to cold reading, how would that be used in a video game?

If there were a rapidly changing atmosphere early on, it could tell what scares you most. It'd be even more accurate if you had a heartbeat monitor on, which the Wii was going to have early on. Obviously, this information would be invaluable in a horror game.
It could also detect what the player's in-game avatar would rather do based on a sort of evaluation at the beginning. So say you were showed a cake, and it detected that you liked cake. When an NPC asks you (or rather, the character you're playing as) what they think of cake, your character would say "I like cake" or otherwise.
Then again, I may be straining my knowledge of facial detection. But the heartbeat idea sounds fairly plausible to me, touch wood.

Reminds me of an idea i had for Amnesia the dark descent.
You can turn on your microphone so any noise you make, the monster can hear.
Imagine hiding behind a barrel, chocking back a sneeze as hard as you can, hoping the monster leaves before you have to release it.

There's a HL1 Horror Mod in the making called Cry of Fear that does exactly that:
fresh from the Cry of Fear Facebook page:
"Working with enemy AI. Just sneaked up behind a monster and shouted "Oi prick!" at him. He turned around and beat my head in with a hammer. I guess monsters reacting to your mic works. B)"
Would suck if your mic had a lot of noise coming from it.
Someone should show the Godzilla Creepypasta to James Rolfe. After all, he did a thing about the game as the Nerd.
Is there more morrowind creepypasta;
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who breaks down when getting chased. It is probably one of the most stressful things in gaming for me, knowing that some monstrous entity that I have no ability to stop is out there, somewhere.

I just looked that up and holy shit, that sounds fucking brilliant. Apparently Evidence: The Last Ritual is actually a sequel to a game called "In Memorium" which plays out the same way. I want to play either one now.

The only truly tense moment in dead space is where you get chased by that seemingly indestructible thing. I was actually enjoying that until you froze it to death, completely ruining it for me.
That Godzilla creepypasta is incredibly well made, but reading the Entropy chapter is a lot less scary if you're playing this while reading it
I wonder if this was actually put in by the composer
(No its not a screamer)
Sorry, but I recognize the parts here. It's just Lavender Town with an I-Dose called Gates of Hades slapped on the background. The part where it starts screeching starts around 21 minutes in the dose file and...well, when I heard this I was quite unimpressed, the only good thign was that they actually managed to get the ghost sprite in the audio itself.
Ok guys, I have cleaned up my creepypasta "book" and added proper page numbers, cover page with the list of included stories and improved the contents page (Name of the game near the name of the story, proper font, proper page numbers)

I will continue working on this (Animal Crossing is planned) if anyone actually cares
I read the first and second chapters of that Godzilla one, and now I'm afraid to read any further...
