Why?! WHY?!” “because you needed it,” i said. “what…?” “Freeze the reason why i never brought you into battles were because you needed rest. i couldn’t have you suffering from fighting to much could I? I love you Freeze, as a pokemon and as a lover. i would never abandon you.” I hugged him tightly as the cemetary around us turned into cerulean city. ” I… I love you too…Rima…” Freeze voice trailed away as he turned back into the pokemon i loved. Staring at each other Freeze jumped onto my shoulder and we continued our journey. what i didn’t know was Freeze had killed all my other pokemon. Just wanted to revive this thread by saying SOMEBODY DO THIS.

It's almost impossible to get that creepy chill up your spine, the haunting music and the actual feeling that you could be playing this game, that all this could well be happening to YOU. Just meddling with something we think of as innocent and pouring a gallon of blood on it won't make it scary, even if it is a video.
So here's an idea: let's have a LET'S PLAY GONE WRONG. And it can start off normal, maybe with a few weird things, but nothing that you would notice, seeing as from the LPer's perspective, he's never played it. Some of the viewers might notice, but the LPer won't. And then things can slowly get creepier and more wrong, maybe even with the game crashing and a disturbing message coming up. And then eventually the LPer is thrown into a shitstorm, the game starts effecting his life and he makes paranoid video diaries about the shit that's happened to him IRL.
It would be hard to change the game to fit these specifications, but if it worked, we'd just be cheese and motherfucking gravy. Let's make a creepypasta...

So then I kept playing but the screen turned off and the N64 turned off and they both exploded and then I was thirsty so I grabbed some water from the cupboard but there was a skeleton and IT POPPED OUT AT ME. Some cancelled japan game that got cancelled because of a certain error, and the fact that you have to wear a helmet to play this game. I have no fucking idea what this game is.
