Have the Half Life mods ever been mentioned here like "5am"? This one dude made a few creepy HL maps with all these secrets in them. I thought they were really interesting even though I didn't play much HL myself.

There were a few more, someone did some walk throughs on YouTube. 5am - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKmgxwwXUVA nocredit - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD-ISLGWfyo er2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eud9RkgqvME&list=UUODNdncPzj_7YL-v2PsMkKg&index=4&feature=plcp house - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGbnt8op1Co&list=UUODNdncPzj_7YL-v2PsMkKg&index=1&feature=plcp Pretty sure those are the mod names, all made by some guy named Hondo. I think there's even more, but I haven't found any videos of them yet.
Is there any Ib pastas? If there isn't, I would write one

Is there a seemingly mock-up pasta which transcribes into a creepypasta throughout the story?
Is there a seemingly mock-up pasta which transcribes into a creepypasta throughout the story?
That is a great idea and someone should get on that.
Skyrim: Curse of Blackreach In the vast world of Skyrim there are many places to explore each with unique importance and mystery. One of the most immense and eerie of places is the enormous yet deserted, ruins of the underground city known as Blackreach. This city was once ruled by the Dwemer. An ancient yet far advanced race of snow elves who have now long since passed on and become vile, surface hating underground dwellers. They are now known as Falmer. Aside from the falmer and their large tamed insects; Blackreach itself is filled with abandoned buildings and monuments, giant glowing mushrooms, but above all else there is darkness. When I first discovered Blackreach during my quest to obtain the Elder Scroll it was easily one of the more creepy areas of the game, I was overwhelmed at its size and decided to get what I needed and get out. Being a person who enjoys a bit of roleplaying in open world RPG’s I had Faendal (the elven follower from Riverwood) with me. I came up with a little story deciding that we would get the item required and return another day to discover the secrets of such a place, and so we did. After leaving we fast traveled to Riverwood to sell items from our deep journey and take a break from adventuring, basically running the mill, hunting, and all around just helping out the village for a few days. It was peaceful and enjoyable. While I did not have Faendal as my follower the entire time I still saw him doing his normal duties (chopping wood, stacking it, etc.). On a side note: in game my character was an elf and I was actually roleplaying as Faendal’s brother, as well as using his home as our own. This is where things got a little strange, after a normal days work I headed back home to Faendal’s he was at the table eating, so I joined him then soon went to sleep. I awoke around 8:30 AM which was the normal time for my character and Faendal was no longer here. Now that was normal as he easily may have been already outside catering to his duties, so I ate a bit of food and headed out to join him. I walked over to the mill, around it, to the woodpile near the forge, back to the house and even checked the inn. Faendal was no where to be found! I searched around once more thinking I must have just missed him but still no where. I searched the trader, even crept into some peoples homes just to be sure he wasn’t there, but he was NO WHERE! I was a bit annoyed at this but I decided to continue with my daily work as usual and hoped for the best. I went out hunting that afternoon and headed back as it started to get dark. I searched around the entire village once more before heading home just to be sure Faendal wasn’t outside somewhere; being that he wasn’t I continued home, made a venison steak and had an ale before going to sleep. The next day started the same I awoke to no Faendal and again to no avail did I find him. Again being a roleplayer I decided to go along with this and establish that he either was on a long hunting trip, set out to achieve something important, (both of these seemed a bit unlikely), or lastly he was taken by someone early the morning of his disappearance or the night before while I slept. I soon equipped myself and set off on a journey to find Faendal, I started by scouting out nearby bandit holds and caves. As I had no luck finding him I expanded my search to anywhere the road took me honestly. Along my journey I ran into a group of Khajiit (cat like people) merchants traveling along the same road, I stayed with them a while and befriended one of the caravans guards, Kharjo. (after doing the quest to get him as a follower I rp’ed that I told him my story and he agreed to help me). We then set off together searching more and more places, then it struck me, I had Faendal as my companion for the majority of the game, we cleared various bandit hideouts, crypts and so on. But he didn’t ever once disappear until we returned from Blackreach. So it was decided I would return to Blackreach now with my new follower, Kharjo and hopefully discover what was truly going on. As we approached Alftand, the Dwemer ruin in which Blackreach is deeply beneath I immediately noted that the shortcut elevator Faendal and I used to escape was now once again locked up, meaning we would have to go all the way through the ruins once again from the main entrance. This wasn’t a huge deal as it actually only furthered my RP. After clearing through a few levels of the ruins, along with Falmer and fresh traps; Kharjo and I decided to take a rest before descending to the depths of Blackreach. We got up and ate then soon entered the abyss, though it was not, the place seemed even bigger than I remember. This time I would be thorough, I would be sure to check every inch of Blackreach, the abandoned homes, market, barracks and even catacombs. Eventually we came upon the epicenter of this ancient city, the huge glowing orange ball which was above I think the debate halls. I suppose the Dwemer created their own sun? Who knows… anyway the thing I noticed as I came upon this place was that I wasn’t being attacked by only the Falmer now, but also their slaves. I mean human, surface dwelling, CAPTURED slaves! It was now in my RP that I knew Faendal had to be here. Kharjo and I fought through these brainwashed subjects and searched. Unfortunately Faendal was no where to be found once again… After hours of more belligerent searching we still had no luck. (of course realistically I know the game probably bugged out and Faendal just randomly glitched away or something but the RP was certainly fun so I continued). There were only a few more places left to search now, one being the derelict pump house and the catacombs being that we had been looking around and fighting for a good bit I decided to return to the laboratory building near the entrance of Blackreach to camp out in, and so we did. After a meal we set out again to search the last places, we came across one of the old Dwemer constructs that was inactive and activated it out of curiosity. It began to attack us of course so we brought it down. Not soon after, I noticed we were being shot at by Falmer from one of the watch towers, I quickly ran up the spiral ramp and shouted the bastard off of it. I turned around to notice Kharjo wasn’t behind me, so I waited there a moment knowing that companions can be a little slow sometimes… he never came up that ramp. (I pretty much gave up on the RP now as I was a little pissed if I somehow just lost a brand new follower). I immediately backtracked and looked all over for him and eventually I decided I was looking for a corpse. I searched Blackreach for hours and hours using torches and spells to make more light hoping I would spot the corpse of my possibly fallen companion. I even climbed the tower where I lost him and looked around to see if I could find it but NOTHING. I found EVERY corpse of Falmer or giant insects we killed but Kharjo was no where! I backtracked further into buildings and so on, but it was Faendal all over again. I was playing quite late now frantically searching for my lost companion. Eventually I searched the buildings we had not yet entered and then even left the ruins using the elevator to the outside. I went straight to Riverwood hoping Faendal would somehow be back but he wasn’t. I tried to recruit a completely new follower and was able to which means Kharjo really was somehow dead. He wasn’t at the Khajiit caravan either. So yeah, I know this isn’t the most creepy story and many may interpret it as a game bug or me being a shitty player of course. But think what you will, Blackreach is a mystery and the darkness will get to you and your followers, maybe it’s a curse… but I am never going back.

veo. part 4 "I will not speak" It was a dark day at the office. After hearing the game that they spent so much working on was cancelled, everyone was quitting the job. "I won't speak, there is nothing you can do." The beta tester won't speak of what he saw. He looked paranoid, and his skin was pale. "Ok I'll tell you something." He got real excited. "In the game there was a..." Sudden faint noises. He was choking. Coughing blood, he was in a fatal condition. As soon as he called the ambulance, he noticed something. There was a journal. On the head, it read, "Being a beta tester" It had all of the secrets. He found out that the game had something on the last page, it wasn't well put into on the writing. It read, " I will not speak of this part. " When the ambulance came, he didn't go. He went to the office... and found the copy. He slapped it into his gamecube and started playing. He got to the last page. As soon as he found it... We arranged his funeral on friday.
A bit rushed on this one.
Veo Part 5: The fifth page. So I played the game after..nffggh.. and there were different settings, like the third page is in an old brick building with these weird lookin' alien creatures that look like a mantis. The fourth page was on.. a world titled "LSD" It was a rainbow happy land (like the pyroland from meetthepyro) No alien enemies there, hardly any enemies at all. I was on the fifth page. Halfway threw the game, I got to the fifth page level. "Life and Death." It threw me into a weird trance. I only had 2 people with me. The trance was that my attack lowered. The map design was at night. It was a town, with ruined houses. There was debris all over. There was no one. That was until one of my friends said " What the hell is that thing over there?" Looking for it I saw.. A human. It had white eyes, but besides that it was normal. This was the enemy called "Soul Sucker" It bites you, and then your health decreases by 20. So you need to stay away from them. The more one bites you, the paler you get. There was a boss battle. There was no boss battle in the previous stages, making this a rare encounter. Remember the old man we saw in the 2nd part? Yup. His face. He was the boss. His face was enlarged, and when he opened his mouth he could shoot bullets, rockets, and squares(that do seriously a lot of damage) He looked like andross from the star fox series. He had red eyes and a pale face, so this boss inspired by andross. He died by whenever he opens his mouth you need to shoot in it. Either using your rocket launcher or your.. bug launcher(They shoot bugs that explode) He died seriously easy. Then he dropped the fifth page. "Emerald spirit released."
I didn't make this one creepy because nothing was on my mind.

Yes totally!! lol
That robot in chapter 2 looks pretty fucking cool.
I've been wanting to write a Dark Souls creepypasta, but not sure how I should go about doing it... What might I write about?
I am going to make my own blog for veo so it doesn't look like I'm spamming the thread.
I've been wanting to write a Dark Souls creepypasta, but not sure how I should go about doing it... What might I write about?
I'm not much of a writer, but I think the invasion aspect of the game could be used to your advantage. With the flashing messages on screen and the whole undead aspect being rather creepy already, you could do some kind of a relentless invader kinda thing where he invades you anywhere, anytime, regardless of whether or not you're human. You could also have the character get more and more desperate as time goes on, so he begins to look more tired/run down when he walks and his "resting pose" at the bonfires gets more and more hopeless. Add in some atmosphere, a few creepy items, and some weird sounds and I think you have the start of what could be a decent pasta. Hope this helped. Let us know where you decide to go with this idea.
I just got done playing one of the SCARIEST video games ever. Now, hear me out before saying, "Oh, he's probably just a fag that gets scared of everything." I don't get scared of video games or movies. I've played many survival horror games and have seen many horror movies in my day. The only thing that made me just a tiny bit scared were some parts of Penumbra and Condemned. Amnesia was pretty good. Everything else was just boring. This game was different. VERY different. You aren't given any sort of backstory to the game at all. As soon as you press play, it throws you right into the game. However, I was able to piece together what the story basically is through finally beating this little brick shitter. Apparently, you're a madman. We're never given the name, but you can guess what it is if you pay attention to the title screen. For some reason, you escaped from whatever mental hospital room you were hiding in. Now, the very horrid state of your mind has transformed the halls of the hospital into nothing but a pitch black maze with the only light being the walls, which glow a deathly blue. Your character is apparently some type of mad cannibal that you can barely control. You can force him to turn corners in the creepy hallway, but not much else can be done. Your character seems to grab anything and try to eat it; whatever is in front of him is thrown into his mouth and he munches it down. While playing the game, you're being chased by four hideous and fucking scary ghost monsters. You cannot hurt them at all, and to come even close to one is instant death, in which the ghost latches onto you and rips you inside all, all while you hear the horrible noise of your body being torn. You can, however, eat some odd objects hidden in the maze, after which your character goes into an even more unstable state. You can literally EAT the ghost monsters. Your character runs right up to them and devours them, only leaving their eyes. There aren't any words to describe how horrific and terrifying this game is, and I don't want to spoil the surprises for you. Just go ahead and try it for yourself. Google the word Pac-Man and you'll find it on the first search.
can you cure it? (this music is for the pasta)
Everyone. Family and friends are dead because of that damn cartridge. and it's all my..fault.. It started out with me and pokemon red. UNTIL THAT IS I GOT TO LAVENDERTOWN. I had an absolute obsession with the ghost of lavender town. The music as well. I just couldn't let go.... let go.. letgo letgo. letgo. letgo. Black screen. He booted up pokemon red. It was night. Perfect. Nightime. Playing the super gameboy on the snes system so he could actually see the screen... then it happened. Darkness forbidden... "What? What's going on?" obsessions.... "What the hell? Who's there?!" lavender.... "Oh god just stop it!! ... "Thank god. It was probably just me." He continued playing through the lavender town event. until he got the idea.... He had a suicide thought. That was it. The last thing he saw before he died... was the... soul.. So I recently bought Pokemon Red on ebay WITH THE SUPER GAMEBOY! Surprising, so I could play this on my snes. It had saves. Weird. It said "completely brand new" on the ebay page. Whatever. I loaded it from the save. He saved on lavender town. Funny, there wasn't a single NPC in sight. But the house of memories... was full of people. They were unconcious, or dead. This was OBVIOUSLY a hack. or so I thought. So I had no idea what to do. Everyone was dead in this game. So I went back to your house, where you start your adventure. And into the room. I saw a boy. Young, but dead. He didn't look alive. He was literally, dead. He hung himself by his window. DENENENENENENENE(battle music theme) Lavender town music in the background. My pokemon! I didn't even check them. I had three unknown. U, R, and N in that order.I had a dragonite, Charizard, and... Vaporeen.(dafuq) So I was versing a person named "deadly john". My save name was john now that I remember. He sent out his pokemon. He had 5 pokemon. In this order: Deadly Dragonite, Deadly vaporeen, Deadly charizard, Squirtle, and Turnip. Who the hell is turnip you may ask? Turnip is a glitchy pikachu. So I killed them all in a snap. "the battle isn't over:. Suddenly, deadly john turned into the RED sprite. The sprite of red, but black and white. His last pokemon was the ghost of lavender town. I died. suicide notes are the best.
Eh, Pokemon creepypastas are really boring now. They usually revolve around Lavender Town and the quality drops consistently.
Why is this in the Fast threads section? It would make more sense in General gaming. Still, nice to see this thread again, i haven't seen it for a while.
