I think you have gotten a habit of self-pity as a defencive mechanism of your inner security. Everything you do wrong, you blame your self and think that nothing matters because there is not much you can do to make things better. Self pity is an ugly cousin of early depression.
I'm actually incredibly self critical, it annoys me people would think I feel sorry for myself all the time. I don't blame anybody but myself (well, and my school) for what's happened.
Guitar won't help your life much, you need education.
I'm planning on doing guitar for a living... Even if I just end up a teacher.
Walk onto that campus with the confidence of the coolest motherfucker on the planet, and people will believe you are.
You'd be really surprised how easy it is to do things when you just tell yourself that you can. And when you can't? Keep going. Don't "try try again" like they always say, learn from what went wrong and just keep on living your life. Also, smile whenever you think about it. Trust me.
Are you afraid of trains? Don't be. Trains are logical. Trains go where you want them to do, usually on time, and you can always ask the dude at the desk if you're unsure where a train is going.
I fucking love travelling alone on trains. It's the greatest thing, apart from when your face is encased in a fat man's armpit.

That kinda was my point, you always blame yourself
There is a therapy for CFS. My mum has this, but found a way to resume her life normaly.
Basically, do what you want to do. Something you never did before, like rock climbing or going on a vacation. Something new and exciting, but not as extreme as Bungee jumping or rollercosters.
Try this out.
