it just only occurred to me that this season is the best thing in quite a while
Parasyte, F/SN, Log Horizon, Chaika - what more would you need?
psycho-pass 2
I'm watching 23 shows this season lol.
24 here including leftovers from last season. Do not waste body fluids weeping for I am already dead.
yeah I know what you mean
watching Stay Night first would effectively spoil all of Zero though
Yeah but that's the point, Zero is predetermined Greek tragedy, and it only spoils the end you still wouldn't know how it gets TO the end.
Yeah that's what i thought. The f/s n vn came out like 3 years before the fate/zero novels so it seemed to make more sense to watch f/s n first.

speaking of leftovers
[t]http://i.imgur.com/0PTjPBg.png[/t]
also have one leftover from 2013 and one from 2012
I started watching f/z with heaven's feel at like 50% completion, probably a terrible idea tbh
F/Z treats its audience as if they're already aware of the workings of the Fate universe so a lot of the terminology and shit will fly over your head unless you've done prior research. Like what Nintendo said, F/Z was written by Urobuchi long after the Fate VNs were released so it obviously spoils a lot of shit as a prequel in terms of revealing certain characters motivations in the Fate/UBW/Heaven's Feel routes and some other twists and turns you don't learn about in those routes until later on
Ideally, it's probably best to read the Fate route in the VN for all the worldbuilding, then move on to this season's Unlimited Blade Works, watch the Heaven's Feel movies whenever the fuck they come out, and watch Fate/Zero last. UBW is split cour and the Heaven's Feel movies will probably come out in another 2 years so really just do whatever you want
Just saw the first episode of Chaika; I totally forgot Akari had the ability to [sp]transform as well[/sp]. How often did this even happen in the first season?

You should probably state where those spoilers are from bro.
And it happened a lot.

Oh, good catch - just noticed I was a page behind when I posted it. Thought it was still the topic :v:
Not 3 minutes into Chaika and we already have a reference to another manufacturer. [sp]Izhmash, a famous Russian weapons manufacturer in Izhevsk, famous for making the Kalashnikov rifles (AK-47/74) and the Baikal brand of sporting arms. They made cars until 2009, when their auto division went bankrupt and was sold.[/sp]
Will CGI models ever look good in an anime?
Yes, but not CGI background characters never will because they're done by Sugimoto-san during his lunch break rather than by anybody who can make good CGI.
Seirei no Moribito pulled off the CGI background characters thing surprisingly well though, definitely the least intrusive example I can think of. Took me a while to notice and it was just "oh ok" not "get a load of this CG".
damn, that dude is pretty schocking, but nowhere near as bad as C
What the hell was up with C? Sometimes halfway through a scene everybody would just suddenly become CG and then do nothing to justify it then change back randomly, or one character would be hand-drawn and the other be CG and it just made no goddamn sense
Not like C made any sense to begin with. Nothing about that anime made sense. They made a battle anime where the fights didn't make any sense from an in-universe standpoint, which then killed the whole point of the crux of the setting's drama. Said fights were blindingly one-sided or never made any sense in the first place.
Finished BLAME! last night. Honest to god, I had a vague idea of what was happening for most of the comic start to finish. The art was nice though.

Watched the fate/stay night ep 0 prologue thing, was really good.
An interesting bit of thought I found on reddit about Nisekoi
"A theory arises that Ruri represents the readers who would like things to move forward, while Shuu represents the author and his meddling editors, trolling us with their efforts to preserve the status quo at all costs."
Parasyte ep 1 was pretty good
but it kinda makes me wish there was a full proper Devilman anime adaptation

Why Ruri is my waifu.
Decided to watch Barakamon, I just got to op and I'm already getting a pedo vibe from it.
I think anime has now completely broken me, thanks to the massive amounts of lolishit in it.
fuck me

That's the point, I'm starting to see pedo shit where it isn't because I'm used to it.

Being desensitized or "used to" something means it doesn't effect you, or you don't notice it, not the other way around.
If you're seeing pedo shit where there is obviously no pedo shit, that just makes you a fucking creep.

I must applaud you for this well thought out joke. Had I not managed to correct the angle of my neck in the nick of time, my monitor would now be covered in liquids.
what kind of liquids
Carbonated soft drinks and saliva, of course.
