Macross tie-in jet skins for games like Ace Combat seem really cool until you see them and it's just another fucking picture of Ranka or one of the assorted idorus slapped onto the top of your jet instead of something cool like Roy Focker colours.

The first season had a handful of flashbacks, observational talks and dragging out, but at least it was tasteful and to the point. I never felt like it was wasting my time or showing me something that was there purely to stretch the budget. Really can't say the same for S2.

There's been a ton of small details in G-Reco, particularly in the character animation and mannerisms. It's nice, even if the animation is lacking a lot of inbetweens.

I can't stand vocaloids, their voices just irritate me. This was kinds a problem with Mekakucity because I really wanted to get a version of the song that shows up at the beginning of the episode where [sp]Ene is running through SHAFT city as it's crumbling around her[/sp] sung by the chick they had sing it in the anime but I couldn't find it.
