well that's very odd
i only checked their 480p version to be sure the script was the same as AHSH but now that i look into it it seems that they're using different scripts depending on the resolution

what makes this weirder is that
1. funimation appears to be the only official site simulcasting the show so i don't know where they got the 720p script from (the 480p version is also hardsubbed like all of their funi rips, whereas their 720p version is not)
2. you can see the TBS logo on the top right of the 720p version, which means that it's not a stream rip like virtually every other horriblesubs release (there've been a few cases of this happening before though, like their monogatari s2 release, in which they took the daisuki subs and placed them on a tv broadcast video)

I've read the first chapter of the LN when I was looking into it to see if it's worth watching.

Of course I skipped the recaps dummy, I even said so in the post.
They are not necessary at all. They weren't recapping the previous season, they were recapping the current one. There were very few flashbacks to the first season as well.
It was just fucking dumb and clearly a budget thing, should have been 3 episodes shorter.
I didn't know what to expect from the Parasyte anime. I hadn't read the manga - probably because I'm weak against body horror - and only picked it up because it seemed well liked.
This is awesome. The question is whether or not I wait for the show to finish before starting the manga. It seems like it's already taking some liberties from the source material.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, Shirobako was much better than I expected it to be.
Not that it's anything amazing by any stretch, but it seems like it'll be a very nice relaxed comedy.
The whole animation studio thing seems to be on the realistic side of things, no magical depictions of how awesome it is to produce anime, just a bunch of people trying to get shit to work out in the end.

So Psycho-Pass 2 has certaily been genericfied with a bunch of 3D CGI and more focus on action.
But I'm glad to see that at least some parts of what made it great shows its face, it'll be fun to see how the story plays out between the one-who-knows and the one-who-follows.
