Zero was made AFTER Stay Night.
Zero is the sequel, even though it's chronologically and canonically a prequel.
I watched Fate/Zero because I didn't care about spoiling a stupidly long VN that I was never going to play that only had a shit anime adaption and liked that I could go in without all of the twists pre-spoiled, and I didn't feel like anything was left unexplained other than [sp]Gilgamesh's random "oh i guess i'm still here isn't that weird"[/sp] at the end.

shoge I think your monitor has a problem with blacks, in your bakuon cleaning I can see the obvious grey-ish strokes, and I see the same in that one, especially on the guy's shirt and the other guy's hair.

It's still obviously too early to tell. Some that i've liked so far have been; Denki-gai no Honya-san, Shirobako, and Amagi brilliant park. Log Horizon S2 and Chaika S2 should be fun too.
Fate/Stay Night and Parasyte are a given
Garo is pretty good so far, but I have a problem with the art style.
On its own, I like it. But with the tone and setting that they're going for, which so far seems to be a pretty direct translation of the main series's tone into a medieval setting, it's too stylised. A more realistic art style would help a lot more than the exaggerated and stylised character designs.
Having said that, the show's animation is quite good and the CG is top notch. I'm just hoping we get more monstrous Horrors in future episodes.
