can any of you guys help me find out the name of a 90's anime/anime film? All the talk about fist of the north star reminded me that a week or so ago, I was talking to my dad about films, akira was brought up, and I asked him if he watched any other anime in the 90's, apart from that and fist of the north star, there was this one show, but he couldn't remember what it was called. Something about these people who go to a hotel, and it's run by a buinch of yakuza, who then turn out to be aliens. His memory is a bit hazy, he used to get baked, then watch films, and he had this one friend who always used to put on anime.

Inou Battle was kind of disappointing. Very funny, yes, but [sp]I wish the second half of the first episode ended differently. I thought the point was that they got superpowers but nothing was going to happen? It would've been much better if it turned out that the Kudou girl was just playing along with Andou's chuuni-ness.[/sp]

No, it stopped getting the OP because it isn't THAT good.
So I have a few shows on hold for various reasons, right?
Two of them being AnoHana and Clannad: After Story. AnoHana I got more than half way with then put it on hold a while back because I got busy doing other stuff. After Story I made the mistake of binge watching up to episode 19 and had to quit for a few months to protect my already flimsy emotional stability.
I finished both of these shows on the same day. About 10 episodes total - 4 from AnoHana and 6 from After Story.
Probably the worst decision in my anime career thus far. I have no water left in my body because it's all been running down my face for the past hour :v:

I don't know what the ending of the KnK novels are but the movie series is definitely worth watching.
