the first season was just about the MC and his sister fixing their broken/barely existent relationship, it didn't get romantic until the second season
and the story goes through so many bullshit loops and any actual plot development is rolled back so none of the actually likeable girls (read: everyone except the sister) would win[/sp]

it's a shoujo-highschool-romcom. The only thing that separates it from other shoujo-highschool-romcoms is literally names and hairstyles. It's a pretty bland and generic genre; not much stands out.
It's still a good formula for a show though and it'll be good.

Got around to watching the latest episode of the new Fate anime, and I'm really liking how my main man Lancer is being represented so far. Ufotable did a good job of showing the reality-bending aspect of his weapon.
