Thats why its fun to watch.
I almost dropped it at the very beginning of first episode until i realized that i simply expect wrong things from it. By changing my point of view i really enjoyed it.

Not announced, we've known it for months, they're just taking auditions for the lead idoru. I guess this confirms us for more J-pop rather than shaking genres up. This article also tells us that it's set eight years after Frontier. I'm always surprised that Frontier only takes place like sixty years after SDF, you'd have thought there'd be a bigger leap.
It had damn well better not be Frontier 2.0, I couldn't stand Frontier.

[sp]Kirino's flights were bought with her money from modelling, Kyosuke took his dad's ticket (Which was probably a return). I don't know about the apartment, could have been owned by a friend of the dad or something I don't recall. He didn't spend too long anyway it was just until the end of the year exams or something, probably a few weeks tops.[/sp]

I wonder how I missed Shirobako in the leadup to this season.
I think it's because I clearly remember reading the premise multiple times at various dates and somehow managing to miss "in the anime industry" each and every time.
In any case it sounds fun, I'll probably pick it up.
