there was also another oldboy movie sometime back and iirc they're making an american live-action movie from Ghost in the Shell as well
there was also an Akira movie planned but no idea where that went
hollywood has had a weird influx of anime/manga live-action movies recently and i dont know why
Tom Cruise is planning on adapting a bunch of ln's into hollywood movies too apparently.
Tom Cruise needs to adapt to the world of normal human beings before he starts making adaptations because that dude is nutso supreme

I watched the 2 minute preview on CR for today's Grisaia episode and I'm pretty sure Amane is the sole reason the BD is going to sell like hotcakes :v:

I haven't seen anything myself except screenshots of the hacked/defaced site but apparently passwords were plaintext so change them on other sites too if you reused them.
Actually: Change them no matter whether they were properly salted and hashed or not, the leak allows an offline attack if it's real.
Today's Grisaia episode was great. They're doing just as I was hoping and adapting entire episodes as only a few big scenes at a time, leaving plenty of Yuuji's hilarious internal thoughts.
The little chibi scenes are awesome as always, and the ED has a whole bunch of little nods to later scenes in the story for people who've read the VN [sp]like Makina hiding in the fridge[/sp].
This is turning out a lot better than expected, especially considering it's 24 episodes and an OVA. 24 episode shows almost always end up being better because it gives plenty of time for story and development.

daily dose of pessimism, fate/stay night by deen was 24 episodes and it was still a disaster.
I'm not saying all 2 cour shows are amazing, I'm just saying in situations like GnK where story and character development are key, 24 episodes give a show a better chance.
if you're adapting a visual novel and it's less than 2 cour, stop immediately. even shuffle! needed 2 cours and that vn is fucking SHORT compared to most.
grisaia will be good i promise you all
