The fact that the art style and direction of Grisaia is so similar to Bakemonogatari is really, really throwing me off. It's not like it's a bad style or anything, it's just so closely associated with the aforementioned in my brain that it's weird as shit to see it being applied to other material.
I barely watch anime any more, the only thing from last season that I watched was nozaki kun. I'm trying to get back into a pattern of watching stuff, planning on checking out Gugure, chaika2, ookami shoujo and ghibli anime. Anything worth watching that I've missed out?

This week's episode was really similar in style with monogatari.
There's the headtilts and the zoom-ins and at one point,I keep seeing Yuuji as Araragi

Speaking of Monogatari,Nisio made a new one-shot with Akatsuki Akira(Artist of Medaka Box) for Weekly Jump.
I sure hope it's a Medaka Box sequel cuz I want to see the Minus arc animated

It's basically...average. It has cool fights, interesting concept, and it's animated pretty well.
It's also ass-flash heavy and has the classic "overpowered MC". The story is basically shit. In SAO S1 the first half is alright but I'm pretty sure everyone agrees the 2nd arc in SAO is bad.
But then again people have different taste and yours might be shittier or not shittier than mine. Because I enjoy SAO/SAOII enough to want to complete it.

I'm watching it. It's enjoyable. Then again, I have a high tolerance for shit, so something needs to be really terrible for me to not be able to enjoy it.
