I'm trying to watch GitS:SAC but the art style is putting me off so much. Major Kusanagi looks fucking awful in this and I stopped watching the second episode when the robots were talking in a cutesy anime girl voice. After seeing the GitS movie it's kind of a weird change in pretty much everything.

Dude, the 95 movie has her in reasonable clothing. The only times she goes nekkid is because she needs the stealth camo. I can handle that just well I mean fuck I watched Kill la Kill, but in SAC the outfit just looks fucking dumb.

You missed my point. If you understood one of the main plot points of the '95 movie, you would understand why she dresses the way she does in other series.
