Are they going to make more Gintama episodes? Are they just waiting for the manga to get far ahead enough so they can make another season?

Amagi Brilliant Park is really good. I dare say it might be the best KyoAni show since Nichijou.
Even if I agree with you,calling Amabri as the best show a top-tier studio has done feels very weird

Well he did say since Nichijou. None of the shows they made since then aren't even nearly as good as the haruhi movie or clannad.

On the bright side they'll never ruin haruhi.
A lot of series go past the expiration date and keep producing stuff and it just becomes awful, but the movie was definitely the best part of the entire series and a pretty solid finale, even if it's not the actual ending.

I really liked the manga and I was super pumped for the sisters arc and I feel like I might've watched to episode 8 but I don't remember if it was my imagination or my memories from the manga or if I actually watched it
Remember, the KnK author has not written further so their next show can't be that.

Somehow I'm doubtful they've got enough material to make another Chuubidoo season.
So they're probably gonna adapt one of their light novels.

The more Patlabor I watch, the more all I can think is fuck Oshii for doubling back and going "nah man mecha are stupid let's write the sequel so that everybody has decided that mecha are stupid despite labors getting shit done in the series" from the movies onwards.
I mean, Patlabor has plenty of showing the obvious drawbacks of mecha but at the end of the day they're still shown as being effective.

It kinda irks me when people blame them for not making more Haruhi or FMP when Kadokawa holds the rights to the franchises.

Yeah, "since Nichijou" are the key words. Kyoukai no Kanata was the most ass show I've seen in a long, long time.
It pains me that there's no decent models for Patlabor. At least I've got the Kampfer and GM Sniper 2.

From what I've watched they pretty much always seem silly.
Also I dunno why he even gives a fuck about keeping shit realistic I mean in one episode they [sp]uncover an ancient tentacled dragon and kill it[/sp]
