sister's arc is trash, silent party is superior and index ii is better than all of railgun
What was so bad about the Sister's Arc, it was one of my favorite arcs in the Raildex series as far as the anime is concerned.
i read bonnouji in one sitting it was too cute
i read bonnouji in one sitting it was too cute
it's 3 volumes, reading it in one sitting is kind of a given
You know, I think TTGL is good, but when I watched it I didn't go "this is the most awesome thing i've ever watched" or anything. Does that reaction come from not having any reference point for things? If you want too many grounded or unexciting things suddenly a spark of extreme liveliness will suddenly be the freshest air you've ever been fortunate enough to breathe? TTGL was just another entertaining anime to me. Maybe it's because I watched Kill la Kill first. Maybe that drained some of the hype. [editline]24th October 2014[/editline] I dont' want to be that guy and be going "yes look at me i don't think thing is that great" or anything but it's like coming up to a concert and everybody is yelling and screaming and I'm here going "it's good but i don't feel like cheering or anything".
for me it was all about the live experience, watching a show that gets the entirety of /a/ behind it is always a really great experience. I don't enjoy the show nearly as much on rewatches

There's just something about it that makes up for the flaws, it's energy is so easy to get carried away in in a way that KlK never manages to replicate. it is a true 11/10, a show that manages to somehow be way better than it actually is. [editline]23rd October 2014[/editline] Like I completely understand somebody not thinking ttgl is a 10/10, my 10 is so ridiculously subjective it's not even funny.
Oh ye I completely forgot this show existed
Maybe it's because I watched Kill la Kill first. Maybe that drained some of the hype.
I also watched KLK before TTGL and in my opinion each show has a different fun curve - while former has a relatively steady yet high one, the latter starts out more slowly, but gets better as it progresses and eventually manages to surpass KLK.
i'm running out of these
Psycho Pass 1 and 2 spoilers [sp] so even after all the stuff that has proven how shitty Sybil system is and how it can be abused, they still fucking use it. One would think someone would try to fuck it up by now. [/sp]
i'm running out of these
it's a sign of the coming apocalypse, first the jack rises from the refugee camp, then garlickeh runs out of idorus. the end is nigh, repent all ye sinners.
eat my ass in hell fellow anime fans
I always did hate mecha the most
I've never really been into reading manga, but I've had some time these past few days so I got into a few random stories I thought looked interesting. The one I finished was called Cradle of Monsters. It's was alright. An interesting "zombie" story about a group of classmates stuck inside a capsized cruise ship. The other one - which is still going but I'm surprised I'm enjoying as much as I am - is Murcielago. It's edgy as fuck and the MC is a psychopathic lesbian who works for the police force to stop criminals they can't handle. "Fight fire with fire" kind of deal. It's hilarious, gory, and fun to read IMO. I'm probably gonna start Akame ga Kill once the anime is over.

[/sp]
yes i think removing something that [sp]literally is the foundations of the entire infrastructure and social structure of a country while also being super "big brother is watching you" is a little difficult to just "fuck up"[/sp]
It is after all a 7 year old show, I imagine if you watched it at the time, or if you watch it as one of your first anime like I did, you'd have enjoyed it a lot more.
Irrelevant.
TTGL was the third or fourth anime I watched and it was a fun show, but I didn't think it was amazing. [editline]23rd October 2014[/editline] in fact there were a lot of aspects of it that i really disliked
yes i think removing something that [sp]literally is the foundations of the entire infrastructure and social structure of a country while also being super "big brother is watching you" is a little difficult to just "fuck up"[/sp]
Probably. I hate Sybil.
Saw the third ep of Yuki Yuna. [sp]The magical girl gang's all here now! The optimistic protagonist, the timid one with a best friend complex, the leader figure, the naive girl, and now the stubborn one who distances herself from the rest.[/sp] My bet's on [sp]the new girl dying within 2 episodes. She set off more flags than the UN headquarters.[/sp] That symbol they have [sp]that gains petals each time they kill a vertex is really ominous. I know they explained it as "oh you'll level up" this episode, but I don't trust them.[/sp] I just hope they don't try to pull a Madoka and say [sp]heroes turn into vertexes![/sp] or something like that. At least do something different.
Probably. I hate Sybil.
i think the concept of sybil is fascinating
Third episode of LH2 was really good. And i must say having deen animate it hasn't been too bad so far. (Poor monk in the op, but it's literally the only thing) [editline]24th October 2014[/editline] [sp]It was really nice to see MMO raid being explained and pictured in anime.[/sp] Especially since i have been playing Blade&Soul every day for a few weeks now, it makes me feel closer to anime. Neurogear to dive into mmo when?
Being able to watch an anime original with /a/ is so much fun, I just love seeing all the discussion and speculation that erupts, something you can't really get with an adaption.
There will probably never be anything as fun as watching Samumenco with /a/ and /m/ while it was airing.
There will probably never be anything as fun as watching Samumenco with /a/ and /m/ while it was airing.
There will probably be anything less fun than watching AZ with /a/ and /m/ while it was airing. Mostly /m/. What a bunch of fucking hipsters.
Just watch it all? Honestly sparky gets more screentime in index than index does.
But it's not the Biribiri I want, it's the "JUDGEMENTO DESU"
i think the concept of sybil is fascinating
But it's flawed to an extent which was shown in PP 1 and 2. It shouldn't have complete power.
But it's flawed to an extent which was shown in PP 1 and 2. It shouldn't have complete power.
Isn't that like, the point of psycho-pass?
omg the barakamon ending ahhhhh
Twintails continues to be so stupidly hilarious it's amazing. We also got to meet [sp]Tailblue, AKA violent best friend girl in a magical suit[/sp] today. Wonder when they're going to introduce [sp]Tailyellow, the Student Council President?[/sp]
New chapter of Shinigami-sama got finally released.
But it's flawed to an extent which was shown in PP 1 and 2. It shouldn't have complete power.
no, i find it fascinating because it's a great representation of trends in japanese social culture taken to the extreme i find it so fascinating i might even write a serious post about it later today
