G-Reco seems to be finally out of the set-up phase because this episode was very good.
G-Reco has hit its stride after some shaky set-up episodes, and the best part is that Tomino is a smug bastard who is completely aware of it. Here's the final lines of the previews from episode 1-5. Episodes 1 and 2 are the same.

At least your manga reading time isn't spent cleaning, translating, redrawing and typesetting a single god damn mango, which entirely takes out the fun out of said mango which is supposed to be a comedy. Instead of laughing at a pun you look at it and think "jesus christ i'm gonna have to redraw this later why god why".
And then when you read other people's scanlations all you do is question their font choices.

If I wanted to get into the Fate series, should I watch Fate/Zero first, then follow along with the UBW Fate/Stay Night that's airing right now?

F/SN spoils stuff in F/Z and F/Z spoils stuff in F/SN. Ufotable is doing both adaptations so if you're not looking for a response that's 'go read the VN first'
yes.

-------psycho piss (just my shitty opinions on why the implementation of the sybil system would be relatively believable in japan which is why i find it fascinating)---------
[sp]
the Sybil system, or rather its form of government and not the system itself (the branes) is the ultimate extreme of japanese society imo
Reason 1: Crime/Security
japanese people are inherently law abiding (almost stupidly so)
lowest crime rate of all industrialized nations, 4th lowest homicide rate, with the 3 preceding it liechtenstein, monaco, singapore
seeing as crime rates tend to be higher in cities, for a country with two metropolitan areas (tokyo and kansai) accounting for 58 million people, thats pretty damn impressive
for example, if you've ever visited japan, you'll notice that almost no one jay walks, even if there are absolutely no cars on the road. no one really steals anything. you can leave your bag on your seat and walk away to find it still there. you can lose your wallet and find that someone's returned it to the police (myself, friends, family have experienced this personally).
then you have the fact that japanese people are inherently risk averse. if you grow up there, crime is something you don't really experience, and so people shy away from it. currently theres an issue where the police force, firefighters and the military are not getting enough recruits, because everyone wants to stay in their safety bubble and quietly go about their lives.
Reason 2: Social Structure/Identity
the cities are fucking clean, yet there are almost no public trash cans. people take trash home with them (unless they're piss drunk). people tend to think about others more than themselves (relative to the west). talking on the phone in trains is forbidden because it disturbs the people around you. no one blasts loud music in their rooms because it disturbs your neighbors. no one drops trash because it inconveniences whoever has to walk through there next. no one talks loudly in public because it's a nuisance to people around you.
these "social laws" really only work if EVERYONE follows them. and almost everyone does. "the nail that sticks out is hammered back in" is a phrase a lot of you have probably heard before about east asian cultures but it's fucking true. the individual is not stressed, it is the group. you act in a way that benefits the group. japanese people see this as social unity; the west sees this as social conformity.
you go with the crowd. if everyone does it, it is socially accepted. if you don't, you stick out like a sore thumb, you are an outcast and are treated as such. your existence disturbs the "social norm" that everyone around you is trying to maintain.
-----
Now, sybil system is the ultimate crime deterrent. despite the plot of psycho pass 1, we can reasonably assume that irregulars like makishima are incredibly rare. (remember that scene with someone getting murdered and people being like wtf is that and not understanding?) overall, for all its flaws, sybil guarantees absolute public safety. almost no one can hide from sybil; it is basically impossible. if you are a normal, law abiding citizen, your safety is unconditionally ensured. this is a big deal
the price you pay is loss of freedom. the sybil system is totally authoritative, with things like determining your career path and your best suited job. but there was a recent study on young college graduates on what kind of employee they want to be, and more people answered with (does a satisfactory job) than (goes beyond expectations of the job). its said that people nowadays have somewhat lost their ambition and personal drive. a system that automatically places you in your best fit job might even be welcomed by some.
so to put it really simply you are giving up freedoms for absolute security (this includes job security). this is what i mean by social extreme of the current, actual japanese society. in japan, you give up a little bit of your individual freedom for the sake of the group, and by doing so, ensuring your "social security". it works because japanese people do as they are told; no one rebels because everyone abides by these social and criminal laws and by doing so maintains this social structure. its not a far stretch to see how sybil could be an extreme take of this system. if everyone keeps their head down and follow the rules, the entire society benefits from being able to live in complete safety

anecdotal evidence about lack of crime in japan, my friend left his phone on the shinkansen twice and on the tokyo metro once, and it made it's way back to him through various channels each time
[editline]23rd October 2014[/editline]
also anecdote about the 'no one talks loudly b/c its an inconvenience': when we went to get lunch (me, garlickeh, and 2 of my irl friends) in akiba, we went into this like, office building/shopping complex and it was deafeningly quiet inside, where in the states it probably would have been pretty loud

Anecdotal evidence on the safety of Japan I've literally gotten fucking trashed and missed the last train and ended up doing shit like sleeping on sidewalks/sleeping in parks/sleeping in next to train stations/walking home through the entire night/eating steak at 3AM totally hammered and I've somehow never gotten assaulted or harmed in any manner
[editline]pls[/editline]
The one time any ones done anything to me while I was totally wrecked was this one time when I blacked out and I came to being helped into a taxi by some dude who was trying to get me home
then I realized it'd be over 100 dollars to taxi home and decided I'd very much walk instead and he gave me a mint to keep me sharp
that's safety in japan
How come it's onii-chan and not onii-kun?

Psycho Pass 1 and 2 spoilers [sp] so even after all the stuff that has proven how shitty Sybil system is and how it can be abused, they still fucking use it. One would think someone would try to fuck it up by now. [/sp]
Unless you're literally [sp]invisible from the system like Mr.Kamui in the second season and/or asymptomatic like Shogo[/sp] you would probably get flagged the fuck up by Sybl for having your Psycho-Pass clouded.
Anyways,Akane is right in certain aspects.
Society needs Sybil and most people are happy to be under it.
i think it actually exists tho
