As someone who hasn't played the VN, this doesn't affect me horribly. I did nearly cry, though, that was depressing as fuck.
I've only watched the first episode so I think I'll wait to see more reactions from VN readers. If it does end up to be a botched adaptation I'll probably just play the VN
Dropped Joshiraku at 7th. I guess it's not my kind of humour.
Non Non Biyori is looking nice... labpunch gives good opinions about it.
Latest Akame Ga Kill episode, holy fuck. [sp] They got Chelsea, those fuckers [/sp]
I think its time for me to watch JoJo
I think its time for me to watch JoJo
It was always time for you to watch Jojo.

[sp]She deserved it after what she did to the wonderful Bols.[/sp]
Not much needs to be explained. The first three episodes were great, but this fourth episode completely fucked up any sort of pacing that they had going and they're squeezing an entire route for one of the five characters into two episodes.
The first 3 episodes were the "common" route - the route that basically introduces the characters. Episode 4 started on one of the characters routes, and the way the next episode sounds, the route that just started is going to end next week.

In other words THEY DUN FUCKED UP
[editline]26th October 2014[/editline]
I want to go into a huge rant about how pissed I am about this because Michiru's route in the VN was my personal favorite and the anime butchering it is infuriating, but I don't think I have to.
I'm just really, really angry that they started off so well and they're already fucking it up.
I'm scared to watch episode 4 now.
New Chuu2 OVA is out, the fact that it's a sequel to S2 makes me wonder if they're doing it as prep for a possible S3.
Latest Akame Ga Kill episode, holy fuck. [sp] They got Chelsea, those fuckers [/sp]
Why is it that today, the only two shows that I'm following have both managed to piss me off, albeit for different reasons :v:
I think its time for me to watch JoJo
be sure to also read jojo
grisaia ep 4
welp, [sp]they already showed rommel's death, and the title of the next episode is one of the last scenes in mitcher's route. 2 episode routes unfortunately confirmed.[/sp]
why the hell did they start with the worst route wtf
although, [sp]I'm excited to see how they handle the clusterfuck that is Michiru's route. Gonna be hilarious to see how they handle Yuji dating both personalities inside of Michiru's head. [/sp]

That stuff probably won't even make it in. I mean, they only showed Tunafish Man for like seconds. That's a sin.
I'm 99% sure they're going to remove the sex from the story as well, which may make things move even faster and it'll change the story, especially for this route.
I just watched the episode and it wasn't horrible, but it was rushed enough for it to feel sloppy to someone who read the VN. [sp]They move from the kiss/personality reveal to Meowmell's death within a few minutes, and as it's been said before, the title of the next episode "Vox in Box" makes it pretty obvious the 'death' is going to be shown next episode.[/sp]
I hope they're not stupid enough to rush the [sp]burial[/sp] bit because that's a major scene. If they spend most of the next episode on that and drag the route into 3 episodes, it might be a little better than trying to condense the route into 2 episodes like it feels they might do. There's still a lot to happen after the scene I mentioned, like [sp]the visiting of 'other' Michiru's home and the hospital visit.[/sp]
[editline]27th October 2014[/editline]
I do like the fact that [sp]they change the color of her eyes depending on the personality that's speaking.[/sp] That was a really nice touch.
Damn, I didn't realize creec got a week ban. Trying to defend catgirls. Ha.
And at the same time you're trapped in the chains of Postal and garry
Postal has the same authority as the rest of us, he's just more active at doing shit. Garry's the boss.
Gotta meet those ban quotas.
hi hello i haven't been browsing this thread but apparently the deadline for new OP vote was like today/yesterday so i whipped this up real quickly
it's still october 26th somewhere in the world at least
link to my totally awesome not-terrible votes please cherish them because it was a lot of work having to grab MAL links for everything when i normally use anidb (the superior anime listing site)
also feel free to ignore my mecha votes if desired because i don't like that genre very much if at all
thanks dgg-kun~
I somewhat recently found out I can actually watch Inou Battle legally in Germany as (somewhat delayed) simulcast... with yellow subtitles. The translation and subtitles seem good though, apart from them not having any typesetting and doing relatively few signs iirc.
If the series stays good I may end up paying for season/rent pass though, even if they licensed it for a fixed sum.
(I don't exactly have the disposable income to import anything, not to mention the super-high prices anime discs normally have. I have 1-2 animes on disc and both of them were very affordable in comparison.)
Somewhat relatedly FFF are now subbing it. The translation is far too liberal for my taste but the second subtitle track has "helpful" educational notes so I guess it's good for rewatching.

They'll probably show the sex scenes, just heavily censored. They've showed Amane's tits like 3 times so far, showed a bath scene with everyone nekkid, and they showed Amane teasing her taco.
Honestly I hope they rush the rest of Michiru's route. Hers was by far the worst and made the least sense. The whole lynch pin for the whole route is some bull shit pseudo-science medical jargon thats laughably stupid.

Ah so they finally adapted the chapter that ruined christmas

Are you telling me you watch with german subs or why are you surprised to find out you can watch in germany.
Are you telling me you watch with german subs or why are you surprised to find out you can watch in germany.
I'm surprised it's actually available here officially, that's not exactly a given.
(Yes, subs on that particular site are in German. It was licensed by a German publisher. The first episode is free but still requires registration.)
Then again it's by Trigger right after KlK so it's not that out of the blue I suppose.
A last-minute reminder to remove Outbreak Company from the fantasy section of your voting lists if you hadn't already.
Or any other section for that matter
How the hell did you watch 7 episodes before you realized.
I watched it because one of my friends linked it to me, and I didn't notice somehow.
Generally if it has 2 in the title that's an indication of something.

Why don't you watch with english subs, if you're able to write you will also be able to read. Furthermore you improve the more you watch resulting in not having to wait for all the german subs.

unless it's Devil survivor 2
How the hell did you watch 7 episodes before you realized.
I got like 6 episodes into haganai before I realized it was S2 and not S1.
in my defense the only thing that distinguishes between seasons is yozura's hair style.
i had to do a thorough investigation to find out what season of SZS is the second one
I remember someone watching After Story first and wondering what the deal was.
