stop, finish steins;gate, and even though I haven't seen it finish spice and wolf I've heard no good things about tamako market.
The thing with both of them is they both feel like shows I need to allot a fair bit of time to and watch several episodes at once. I'm starting Tamako Market to fill the "something I can just watch whenever" void left when I finished Hidamari. That, and while I like Spice and Wolf, for some reason, I just don't feel like watching it right now.
hahaa!! look at this guy he has bad taste!!!
what's some good spooky anime that i can watch for the holiday? already seen Another and Higurashi
I feel like you bunch are trying to say something bad about Tamako Market but you're fucking wrong.
so naruto ends next week here is the last page of the latest chapter http://i.minus.com/ibpsx9U4rYUgaJ.png
I feel like most shonen manga have a "you must have this level of thinly-veiled homoeroticism" to pass scale.
I feel like you bunch are trying to say something bad about Tamako Market but you're fucking wrong.
It's enjoyable, nothing more, nothing less.

I don't get why you guys hate Tamako Market It's a slice of life and it's good at being a slice of life, and it has fantastic animation and music, and likable characters What else do you need
I don't get why you guys hate Tamako Market It's a slice of life and it's good at being a slice of life, and it has fantastic animation and music, and likable characters What else do you need
So in other words, it's a KyoAni anime? That's all the reason I need to watch it.
So in other words, it's a KyoAni anime?
To the very core.
I'm watching Gundam 0080 War in The Pocket again. These are the fucking best Gundams. Old 90's animation with realistically grounded stories and mobile suits. I mean, Unicorn was good but that's probably the only one of the recent Gundams I really enjoyed. I really can't stand that "Oh, this particular gundam is the strongest of them all because of X-Factor so it can get shot a million times and do dumb bullshit to deus ex machina the storyline. Oh, also we got the most pre-pubescent whiny, angsty teenage with a strange justice complex and daddy issues to pilot it and make numerous tactical and personal errors that gets people killed." War in the Pocket and 08th MS Team are by far the best for not having god-mod mechs and realistic settings. Yeah, War in the Pocket has this weird plot with the kid and the pilot and stuff but it's 100% more reasonable and watchable than say your typical Gundam Wing pilot or Gundam Seed character.
One day KyoAni will make something violent and gory, and it'll still be goddamn adorable somehow because I don't think they know how to do anything else.
One day KyoAni will make something violent and gory, and it'll still be goddamn adorable somehow because I don't think they know how to do anything else.
fmp second raid was pretty violent
You know, I wonder why I haven't watched 0080 yet. It's short, I've seen all of the other OVAs, and it has my favourite mobile suit designs in the franchise. I'm trying to remember why I haven't watched it, and oh that's right now i remember fuck you kid The GMs all job horrifically to hype up Jion, to pathetic degrees. Look at that gif with the Hygogg. When the camera changes as the Hygogg starts its ridiculous slide, THE GMS TELEPORT BEHIND COVER SO THEY DON'T JUST FILL HIM WITH HOLES BEFORE HE CAN MAKE IT EVEN HALFWAY THERE, not to mention them having the aiming skills and reaction times of drunken two year olds. Look at it, when the Hygogg starts sliding, they're aiming at him. The camera cuts to zoom in on the Hygogg, then when it cuts back the GMs are suddenly behind cover. Clearly Zeon needs reality to warp to make them look impressive. The GM it grabs to use as a shield wasn't even disabled. There is ONE GM kill in 0080. ONE [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] There is no way I'm dealing with that shit when a Blue Destiny and a Thunderbolt GM were passed up in favour of a fucking SD Gundam in Build Fighters.
I don't like the kid. But I don't mind the Zeon-Goggles the series wears. I enjoy watching that action sequence and I didn't notice any of that stuff until someone mentioned it awhile back. Zeon are pretty neat sometimes, even if they're modeled after some weird Nazi theme. I like a lot of the stuff in the series. I like seeing the Colony. I like the whole plot where they sneak in a disassembled suit and assemble it for a secret attack in a warehouse. That's badass and the suit its self is soo fucking neato. I just like the series. But that being said one of my favorite episodes of 08th MS Team is where they spend a whole episode cleaning sand out of their suits and bitching about the heat. Which to most people must be kinda boring. [editline]29th October 2014[/editline] Also I guess it is kinda odd a six story tall mobile suit gets shot down and crash lands in a public park in the middle of a colony where there are probably thousands of witnesses, sensors and cameras to tell you that there is a fucking robot laying ten feet off the bicycle path of the park and no one ever goes to investigate or accidentally stumbles across it walking their dog or some shit.
Gundam 0080 is basically A Very Gundam Christmas I rewatch it every year
Also I guess it is kinda odd a six story tall mobile suit gets shot down and crash lands in a public park in the middle of a colony where there are probably thousands of witnesses, sensors and cameras to tell you that there is a fucking robot laying ten feet off the bicycle path of the park and no one ever goes to investigate or accidentally stumbles across it walking their dog or some shit.
While that Side is neutral, they're kind of in the middle of a war. If a mobile suit crash lands in the middle of the city everybody would be hauling ass to the nearest shelter before any reactors go boom and they get sucked out of the colony. [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] And hey, it's not all bad, seeing as I just bought the Kampfer's HG about thirty seconds ago. I really wish Izubuchi did more designs for Gundam, and thank god for Bandai's nonsensical HG schedule making sure that the Kampfer and GM Sniper 2 didn't get models at the same time as the aquatic suits and the Cold Districts/Command, which are pretty garbage by modern standards. The FMP designer who worked on AGE is kinda similar though, very sleek and streamlined most of the time.
also pupa, gyo and photokano [editline]29th October 2014[/editline] also unbreakable machine doll and sekai de ichiban
Gyo is great, I don't know why you guys hate it. Of course, it's great the same way Another is great.
what's some good spooky anime that i can watch for the holiday? already seen Another and Higurashi
gyo It isn't really spooky, but it is Halloween as all fuck: Soul Eater. Kind of long to watch all in one sitting, of course.
Well, even so if you lived on the other side of the colony you could literally look up and see a six-story tall mobile suit with the naked eye. It's a cylinder they live in after all. I'm not that far in and it's been awhile since I watched it. But don't they come back to that Zaku after a substantial amount of time and spend weeks repairing it and no one ever notices too?
Gyo is great, I don't know why you guys hate it. Of course, it's great the same way Another is great.
I wish we had more colony fights, and not like in ZZ where they spent the first fifteen episodes mostly fighting in this inexplicable mountainous region made entirely of discarded scrap metal. I think you could do a lot with a setting where all you need to do is fly upwards for a few seconds to flip yourself upside down.

Explosive decompression can literally be used as a tactic to cause genocide and that's metal. Or that time Zeon accidentally a whole colony with gas and killed everyone. Or that time Zeon just said fuck it and threw one at Earth. Than when they ran out of ideas and did it again. Why doesn't the Federation ever do anything cool like that? Why don't they strap rockets onto the moon and fly it into one of the colonies or something?
Why doesn't the Federation ever do anything cool like that? Why don't they strap rockets onto the moon and fly it into one of the colonies or something?
The Federation invented the Solar System, capable of frying an army of zeeks without killing millions of your own citizens like Zeon's superweapons tend to do. Zeon kinda copied it but the Federation did it first and Zeon had to liberate a colony's worth of spacenoids and force them out of their homes so they could convert the shell into the fuckhuge laser that is the Solar System. The Titans who are technically part of the Federation came up with the Colony Laser too.
Okay. So as I watch further the kid goes back to the Zaku like three days later and says "They took the weapons away." but didn't bother to rope it off, haul it away or anything else. He fucking gets in the thing and it still has power. That's like crashing a tank in Central Park, taking away all the shells but leaving the keys in the ignition with a full tank of gas and assume no one is interested in messing around with it. I gotta re-watch 0083 Stardust Memories next I think. It was in that one right? And Zeon fucked it's shit? [editline]29th October 2014[/editline]
0079.
Oh, the original. I guess that's why I don't remember it.
What series was this in? I don't remember any of this but it sounds like Gurren Lagann tier shit.
You haven't watched 0079? Go watch 0079. Other than the animation you'll find that it's far less dated than you'd think. When I watched it it felt more fresh and original than most modern mecha series. Plus the action choreography is fantastic despite poor animation. Plus, they answer the question of "why don't they just nuke each other". Nukes are banned as party of the Antarctic Treaty, Zeon signed it because the Federation had a lot of nukes and would have blown them to kingdom come without it. When one Zeon commander panics and threatens to nuke the Federation's approaching army it's treated as a pretty big deal. And what happened was [sp]they're in the middle of winding it up when Gato in his very overpowered for the time period mobile armour decides to start breaking part of it which greatly reduces its power.[/sp]
I've seen 0079 I just didn't like it. I watched it ages ago too.
I've seen 0079 I just didn't like it.
Well, the door is over there, you know what to do.
