how is jinrui dark?
how is jinrui dark?
It definitely contains dark humor.
how is jinrui dark?
さあ... [sp]it's a series about humanity on the brink of extinction, makes light of that fact, and then uses morbid humor throughout the entire series. the reveal of the space drone's feelings, the crazy girl at the school, death and mortality is a laughing matter, etc.[/sp]
it's not like I just looked at the picture and dropped it, I read the plot synopsis too, they just seem pretty boring also I just watched all of inferno cop, that was amazing
The descriptions always sound awful I think you might like FLCL though
Is the anime equivalent of "Don't judge a book by its cover" "Don't judge and anime by its fanservice"?
no it's "don't judge it by mal/ann/etc; use anidb instead" vs vs
dont judge an anime based on its MAL recommendations
dont judge an anime based on its MAL recommendations
"these anime are similar because both have male main characters"
Can you guys please explain to me the correct way to go about watching Evangelion? I tired reading some tutorials but they all seem to have differing viewpoints on where or what you should watch ... You seem to be very proficient at this anime thing so you probably know the best way to go about it. Thanks

Thanks
watch the TV show, then watch End of Evangelion after that if you feel like it watch the rebuilds in order don't expect it to be an action show, it's a psychological show
the answer for these questions is always production order
Is it really that simple :v:, why is there such a fuss around the watch order then?
Is it really that simple :v:, why is there such a fuss around the watch order then?
i've never heard any fuss about the watching order so i don't know, maybe it's about some people preferring the rebuilds but those people are silly
i've never heard any fuss about the watching order so i don't know, maybe it's about some people preferring the rebuilds but those people are silly
Are the rebuilds the same as remastered versions?
Are the rebuilds the same as remastered versions?
yea, they're the movies with titles like Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone You could (or, imo, should) skip Death & Rebirth movie as it is a recap of the series plus a few unimportant scenes.
Rebuilds are actually [sp]a sequel, a recent (official) banner made it, uhh, official[/sp]I guess why are there still people who are convinced otherwise??
I guess I'll just watch everything except the recaps, thanks.
Rebuilds are actually [sp]a sequel, a recent (official) banner made it, uhh, official[/sp]I guess why are there still people who are convinced otherwise??
I haven't watch the rebuilds so I can't say.
I guess I'll just watch everything except the recaps, thanks.
the last two episodes are considered optional by a lot of people, this is incorrect, don't believe anybody who says this. [editline]1st November 2014[/editline] don't watch the rebuilds
I guess I'll just watch everything except the recaps, thanks.
FYI, Gainax's budget runs out towards the end of the anime series and you can tell.
don't watch the rebuilds
1.0 and 2.0 are good movies, especially 2.0.
the last two episodes are considered optional by a lot of people, this is incorrect, don't believe anybody who says this. [editline]1st November 2014[/editline] don't watch the rebuilds
do watch the rebuilds, they're great Keep an open mind for Rebuild 3.0, though. It'll probably make you angry the first time you watch it. The only anime I've heard of that has a nonstandard watch order is Haruhi, because it's out of chronological order. Are there any others that are like that? I know Baccano is out of chronological order somewhat, but it's done in a way so that you can't really watch them out of order.
The only anime I've heard of that has a nonstandard watch order is Haruhi, because it's out of chronological order. Are there any others that are like that?
Hidamari Sketch, iirc?
the Monogatari series
They jump around quite a bit but would you really recommend switching up the watch order? That would be even more confusing in my opinion
The Kara no kyoukai series
but, you're meant to watch them in release order, just cause it has a weird chronological order doesn't mean you should watch them in chronological order, the kara no kyokai novels are out of order too, out of order in this case is the correct order. you're meant to not know what's gonna on at first it's a mystery.
They jump around quite a bit but would you really recommend switching up the watch order? That would be even more confusing in my opinion
no dont do that
They jump around quite a bit but would you really recommend switching up the watch order? That would be even more confusing in my opinion
I was moronic enough to believe some FAers to watch it in a slightly different order and it sort of ruined the enjoyment for me, so no don't do it.
