Then pick K-On the fuck back up then.
I specifically stated that I dropped it so no one would tell me to watch it. The vibe I got after a few episodes was pretty much: Little girls drink tea and eat cakes for 24 minutes and get bailed out by a thick eyebrowed rich girl-ex-machina every time something doesn't go their way. Also music and moe. If I'm wrong about it, oh well, that's my loss. I'm sorry but it's not a show I can see myself enjoying.
Showed it to my sister.
Do you hate your sister?
Do you hate your sister?
I did warn her beforehand. If I remember correctly, she said she wanted to see it anyway. then again she is dorkier and more naive than I am and simultaneously is way better at predicting where plots will go and understanding the literary point behind things so she was less doubting of it and could understand the bullshit better on the other hand she rated fractale a B the first time she watched it, and reads naruto half-ironically so who knows

Tamako Market is exactly what I hoped it would be, a KyoAni moeblob. It is living up to my every hope and expectation for it. I seem to have this ability to pound through moeblobs and SoLs, but yet it takes me time to watch actually good shows.
Decided I'm gonna watch a KyoAni show next. Kyoukai no Kanata (), Haruhi (), or something else? I've seen Clannad+After Story, I'm not interested in Free!, and I dropped K-On.
neither.
Cases of terminal shit taste are always sad to watch.
Oi bug off, Tamako Market is decent.
How is that different from any CGDCT ever?
I don't actively watch anything in the CGDCT genre Also I didn't find the characters all that cute. They actually kind of annoyed me Something may be wrong with the moe center of my brain I habe anime cancer b0ss
Cases of terminal shit taste are always sad to watch.
Yeah I know. My condolences to your family, Reds.
But didn't you like Hidamari or whatever.
Oi bug off, Tamako Market is decent.
No it's not.
But didn't you like Hidamari or whatever.
I liked hidamari and didn't enjoy K-On at all. I haven't finished S1 but like, hidamari grabbed me from episode one, while K-On I got halfway and was just like 'why am I watching this' My best guess is the weird artstyle drew me in for the times when it was straight up boring, whereas K-On in the downtime it's not even interesting to look at, so one kept my interest up and the other was just like 'eh' I honestly dunno why people compare K-On and Hidamari so much, they're similar but I get a totally different feeling watching hidamari than I do with K-On.
Well I watched like 2 episodes of Hidamari sometime back and it didn't grab me at all, it felt really boring to me, while K-ON was interesting to me from ep1.
Oi bug off, Tamako Market is decent.
If it makes you feel any better I'm talking about the second paragraph and not specifically Tamamoe Market
Well I watched like 2 episodes of Hidamari sometime back and it didn't grab me at all, it felt really boring to me, while K-ON was interesting to me from ep1.
well I guess you just have [sp]your[/sp] taste [sp]which is perfectly fine[/sp]
well I guess you just have [sp]your[/sp] taste [sp]which is perfectly fine[/sp]
imagine how boring every discussion would be here if everyone just agreed to disagree with having different tastes
imagine how boring every discussion would be here if everyone just agreed to disagree with having different tastes
Imagine not acting superior towards people who don't like the things you like. It'd almost be mature or something.
imagine how boring every discussion would be here if everyone just agreed to disagree with having different tastes
Well he didn't say 'Hidamari is shit you're a faggot' and I didn't say 'K-On is boring shit I don't get why anyone would ever watch it' so I don't really see a point to starting an argument where none existed. Anyhow, I can't start an argument in this thread that's nearly as entertaining as other people (for example watching dgg get irate is usually one of the highlights of my day when it happens) so I try not to do it.

Watching Gundam 0083 now. I love this OP, been years since I heard it. I also think the dub is pretty good. I know people will disagree but I dunno, I like them.

Imagine not knowing that [sp]I have no no problem with people liking slice of lifes even if I wish you'd have greater variety in your viewing material and all accusations of shit taste are jokes[/sp] If you didn't fill out your fantasy sections you're still plebs though
rec me some good fantasy then nigga i only see you dis fantasy that other people watch
Seirei no Moribito, Twelve Kingdoms, Slayers.
Seirei no Moribito looks neat and is production IG, I'll watch it after I finish aria.
i'm just trying to make jokes cause people always tell me i have bad taste and i remember being screamed at cause i was like "well lets just agree to disagree" when someone was telling me a show i liked was bad ;_;
rec me some good fantasy then nigga i only see you dis fantasy that other people watch
Escaflowne D.N. Angel and if you want cute dog and cat girls doing battle things, then Dog Days
Warning for Escaflowne though, stay away from your computer screen when you watch it or they'll poke your eyes out with those noses. [editline]2nd November 2014[/editline] You know, my first experience with Twelve Kingdoms was seeing two episodes of it on TV, midway into the final arc and nothing made any sense and it looked hella boring. Glad to have been disproven when I actually watched it.
Pyscho-Pass Season 2 is basically what happens when people on 4chan start spoonfeeding everyone.
