Psycho-pass ep3-4
My god, the entirety of ep 3 is a poorly written piece of garbage. Who's idea was it to try and make Psycho-pass into some shitty CSI knockoff?
The new inspector that is on the edge always criticizing Tsunemori, never satisfied with her responses and always making her into "the wrong guy" whilst herself being a useless piece of shit that can't even make her decisions on her own and follows things by the book.
What a stupid fucking character, she's so incredibly forced to act a certain way just to make their absolute garbage writing move along and progress a poorly made story.
Only the damn cliffhanger of ep3 was interesting, which lasts for a whole 1-3 seconds.
ep4 was just more of the same, investigation entirely showcased with questions and answers, no actual investigation at all, just asking questions all the time and then having dialogue where they've come up with some possible answers.
And whilst the end was kinda cool, it's also incredibly fucking stupid, because again, it oozes of poor forced writing which is all like "HEY THIS IS FUCKED UP RIGHT?! YEAH DON'T FOLLOW THE BOOK KIDS! THAT SURE SHOWED THAT NEW INSPECTOR HOW BAD THE SYSTEM IS! FUCK THE CORPORATE WORLD BIATCH!"
The actions taken are just absurd as fuck and doesn't make any sense. [sp]Let's blindly shoot into a room where people are panicking, giving them a clouded hue and hope it resolves the situation by killing the person that has the highest crime reading. Especially when the fucking doors are opening and we can find out what the fuck is going on.
Oh and let's shoot all the civilianz becuase they are in a state of panic and covered in blood[/sp]
You need to be a genius at both forced and dumb writing to come up with this shit.
I was expecting Psyco-Pass 2 to be ruined by taking an action angle on it, being more generic and appealing to the younger generation. Not by trying to actually be Psyco-Pass but not understanding, at all, what made it so great. (If they knew what made it so great they wouldn't have made a sequel in the first place)
Oh, and the art is really bad at times. Triangle face with triangle eyes.
I feel like if Urobuchi was writing psycho-pass s2 it wouldn't be so shit, still an unnecessary sequel but it could have at least been somewhat up to par with s1.

Making strong poses is a really important part of animation, what are you talking about. And I don't "think it looks good" because they've somehow tricked me into thinking it looks good, I think it looks good because it's genuinely good animation. Good poses, good timing, good arcs, tons of inbetweens, always really good and consistent drawings. Combined with really nice character design and beautiful backgrounds.

Your opinions aren't somehow more correct, you can't "inform" me about anything. What if I enjoyed the story, and don't care about innovation, writing wise? I genuinely don't care at all about writing and story quality unless it's so bad it jumps out at me as particularly bad.

If it's Nishiya's, Ikeda's, or Kadowaki's, yeah I agree. Not a fan of Horiguchi's.
People give stuff like Clannad (and by extension Itaru Hinoue) shit for its character design, but I found works that use Horiguchi's design often harder to adapt to.

Abnormal Girls is pretty great, I agree. It can basically be summed up as "a misogynist and the women he hates".
One thing I don't like is how the author pulled an Attack on Titan and tried to insert an English version of the title. He put in "Babys Type: Abnormal".
