I've been hearing a lot about Shingeki no Bahamut, but I'm not sure when it popped up. Seems to be relatively new. That, or I somehow managed to just not hear about it until very recently. Anyone watching it currently? Worth watching?

Started airing this season.
Very worth watching, animation is incredible and the setting is quite interesting.

Question: What defines a figure and what defines a statue? Because that's listed as a figure but it's pretty clearly a statue.

Bahamut is a show that's playing fantasy incredibly straight incredibly hard, and makes it just all blend together really nicely somehow despite when you look at it purely on paper it's a cliche-ridden mess.

I've been using it for a while and think it's fantastic. Some people don't.
It's a pretty divided topic, really just personal taste. I can understand that some people don't enjoy the hyper-smoothness in a medium predominantly composed of still frames.

Yoko is so frustrating. In a series where everybody is stylish and cool she's relegated to overbearing fanservice. She could have had such a cool design if they didn't go for undignified and unashamed fanservice. So what's the first thing that comes to mind whenever Yoko comes to mind? You don't think "oh it's that one character with the gun", you think "oh hey it's miss fanservice, also she used a gun". It's pathetic.
And it fucking worked so I guess I can't blame them.
