hi5
If there's one thing I've learned from Sora no Woto and Break Blade it's that owls are the only good mascot animal. They aren't obnoxiously cute, or trying to be cute anyway, they don't make much noise and the noises they do make are quiet and not high pitched squeaking, and they apparently don't take any shit.
Last or First, Titopei, Winner, Zombii and Trunk Monkay are the only ones remaining, I'll go over those tomorrow and fix up all the errors, check that every vote is present, correct and counted for.
Unless you just forgot to mention them, you're missing Charm6000, whom you had listed in a pervious post.

Sword Art Online does not seem to be a thriller at all, but an action adventure drama. I also don't quite see how it would be a thriller from what I know about it.
Unless anyone can argue well otherwise I would ask you to change your vote or withdraw it.
didn't think you'd take that vote seriously, feel free to remove it lol
as for competitive I can't think of any replacements so remove that too
Hey, dgg, another error. You've got Seirei no Moribito in two places, splitting it into a 2 vote and a 1 vote under Maxumym. You did the same thing for Juuni Kokuki too.
Not that it matters much, this category is breaking my heart anyway with how seasonal it is.
um no sorry it's a pretty terrible scifi
like unironically scifi is barely even a 1* rating for shinsekai yori
[sp]the truth about the rat people, and the information database creatures, being the ONLY scifi parts of the show[/sp]
hell, romance is even more of a fit than scifi is
i'm still not sure exactly what the psychological category is but under what my current definition of what i believe it is i would also disagree with it. There's virtually no inner monologues aside from narration, and although there's character growth throughout the story we never really know what the characters are thinking.
drama is so broad that pretty much everything fits into it
it's supernatural/thriller and that's about it.

studio deen's adaptation of fate/stay is terrible
which is what he's confusing it with
except the entire setting of the show and many of the elements of the plot in the latter parts of the show are scifi
just because it doesnt take place in a hyperfuturistic cyberpunk dystopia doesnt mean its not scifi
[editline]4th November 2014[/editline]
im sorry im really having trouble grasping how you can call ssy 'not science fiction'
dgg i'm confused with the fantasy category

who is the second person in these
Me and die hard count as 2
Me and die hard count as 2
stop being fat
I mean, Log Horizon clearly deserves a place, but Chaika, while a very good show, is clearly only there because it's seasonal, and I'm mixed about the number three place being a comedy.
Not bad shows, it's just that two out of three are not what I would consider to headline the genre.
Oh well, I tried. You can only do so much when you're working with plebs. Can't ask people to vote for what they haven't seen. And that's only the headliners anyway. It's not like it's not being in the top three means you don't get in at all.
But really? Chaika over Berserk, or Juuni Kokuki, or Seirei no Moribito? I could go on.
the lack of lain in these votes is dangerously offensive to my sensibilities
Me and die hard count as 2
ye cos ur fat :^)
wait a minute are you seriously shitting me theres a chance that SAC might not make it into the top 3 of scifi

Lains not that great. I don't really get why everyone loves it so much. It kinda annoyed me because everyone was like 'oh man it's so complex and deep and there's so many little details' but it's just confusing, had a piss low budget and they had an obsession with namedropping every computer they could from the time period. I was expecting lots of interesting stuff to pick up on since I'm a programmer but I got jack shit.
I do like the plot, but I think they shrouded it in mystery just because they could, it's not that complicated really.
nocturni why'd you put seirei under action you can't do this to me
the show is light on action too you change that right now young man
The fact we're losing Haruhi main series from the OP makes me slightly irritated.

tough competition my dick how the fuck are psycho-pass and yamato better or more quintessential scifi than fucking GHOST IN THE SHELL
one more vote for seirei would put it into the backup headliners for the genre
a vote for seirei is a vote for justice

What do you think I mean when I say I have to fix up the errors?
The second person could have vanished, or google doc could have replaced those columns with something else when I copy pasted.

I'm not sure though

I'm pretty sure it's a cat but sometimes I wonder if it's a rabbit. Either way I hate it.

How the heck isn't Psycho-pass a strong(er) contender compared to GitS in Sci-fi?
tough competition my dick how the fuck are psycho-pass and yamato better or more quintessential scifi than fucking GHOST IN THE SHELL
Psycho-Pass gets more votes because it's seasonal. Therefore more people have watched it than even something as big as GitS and it's fresher in their minds in the case that they watched GitS before it. This is the cruel reality of Fast Anime.
I'd like to also mention that I'm saying anything about Psycho-Pass itself or its validity. I'm only two episodes in after all.
I like the mascots in Yuki Yuna, they're pretty unobtrusive and not annoying as far as mascots go.

I think you meant human nature.
How the heck isn't Psycho-pass a strong(er) contender compared to GitS in Sci-fi?
since the fact that ghost in the shell and stand alone complex are considered some of the greatest science fiction works of all time, not just in anime?
psycho-pass is good, but its not even close to being on the same level as gits
edit
like as someone who considers science fiction their favourite genre gits is up in the top 5 pieces of scifi media ive ever consumed
I think you meant human nature.
If it's in human nature to be plebs while voting, sure

Lol, GitS being the greatest Scifi work of all time.
Yeah now I've heard that too.
Psycho-pass is better than GitS.
