Yes, I told people to vote for shows in categories according to what you enjoyed them for. This is to tell people to think through their decisions, so that when they are going to vote for something in "action", they think about the shows that really appealed to them for the action. That they don't put in a really good action show, even though personally they think a different action show actually did the action aspect better, they just didn't like the overall show as much because they were looking for more than just action.
It's not me telling people to vote for things in categories they do not belong to, just because they personally think it was nice for that. Ping Pong isn't labeled as a drama anywhere, despite drama being one of the absolute easiest labels to get, the criteria for being labeled as a drama is so low that if it isn't labeled as a drama there needs to be some extra special incredible circumstances that makes it not so (Baccano's storytelling makes it hard to label). I want people to vote for their best shows, but I also want to [U]guarantee[/U] visitors that they get what they are looking for, it shouldn't be a matter of subjective interpretation whether or not they got what they were looking for.
Ping Pong is labeled as a sport, because sport describes everything it has and presents. The character-drama in Ping Pong is characteristic of a Sport show, it's what defines and labels shows as sport shows, not dramas, along with dealing with sports, of course.
A fact in this circumstance is that the show is not officially classified as a drama. Had we not have a competetive category I would have let Ping Pong be voted for as a drama because it would belong nowhere else, and although Ping Pong's drama is too narrow in scope, too specific to warrant the drama label, it would still be the appropriate place for it to be in, lacking any other option.

I'm partway through Ep 4 right now, and wow, I'm shouting at the screen here. [sp]I know they're terrified of the guy, and he managed to kill one of them with one swing of his plastic baton, but why not just get two of you to grab his arms?
Then there's the medic guy who's pointing some nail gun at the officer when she wakes up. "I've been ordered to do this." After the old guy kills another person the medic decides "Hey, I've got a gun, why don't I shoot the guy?" But then the officer says "No, don't worry, I'll save everyone, even though I'm tied up half naked, and my gun is in the robot dog's mouth, and it didn't work earlier." The gun is just going to kill him anyway! Just fucking shoot him, jesus christ!
I know in the first season there was a similar situation with the people with the helmets, but there were an equal number of them and they had all sorts of weapons. This is one old man with a baton and a robot dog.[/sp]

Without further explanation it just seems more like a whine than it is a critique. "random ass chick with psychic abilities," is ANY new character introduced "random ass" what makes her more random than any other character introduced, and considering she was barely introduced, it's implied that we'll learn more about her as the series goes on.
