The only reason why I still watch SAO is for the sake of completeness. Everything looks fine but it's so boring.

Since Accel World is made by the same guy, there's a LN chapter of AC with a weird time travel plot thing where both series' main characters meet and battle in the VR environment although they're decades apart. Clash of the overpowered.

obviously can't help but noticing the trash pacing but what's worse is that i've never watched anything with more repetitive/predictable music. a greater issue that it isn't even as catchy as others. things like yu-gi-oh! or fairy tail or whatever aren't this bad

I was already mentally and physically weak when I started.
When I was marathroning Turn A Gundam a few months back, I watched 21 eps in one sitting and genuinely felt sick and weak by the last ep so yes I'd say it is possible for it to happen.
I still can't believe I survived 5 episodes of Coppelion
I watched all of code geass s1 in one day and I felt fine.

Gurren Lagann counts double for being both a good mecha anime, and an homage to other mecha anime.
Finally got around to finishing Katanagatari after being busy with school for a while.
The ending was pretty good.

Whoever writes the episode summaries for Crunchyroll either is doing a terrible job or a fantastic job. It's hard to tell which. The descriptions for some shows are shit, but they tend to be for shit shows. So I guess it works out. Maybe that's what the word "terrific" is for?
