The movie isn't bad, it's just not really necessary. The end of Steins;Gate had good closure and it was very definitive, the movie has just a definitive ending so it's not wholly necessary.
With that said, you get to see about 30 seconds of [sp]Dere-Kirisu[/sp] so that makes the whole movie worth it.
