sora no method 7
why can't they choose a genre and stick with it?
is it drama?
is it comedy?
is it healing slice of life?
is it some strange new genre where the main character is oblivious and every other character is a shitlord?
its the same genre as glass lip
shite
So i just finished Psycho Pass season 1, and it's great and shit. I know the second season is airing now but i haven't heard a lot of good things about it. Is it worth it?
Short answer, no. Long answer, no. Longer answer: it's universally accepted as shit, but if you feel like watching something you don't enjoy so that you can join in on a hateparty with all of the other people who agree that it's shit once a week, go ahead and watch it. It'll be fun, it'll be just like you're on 4chan.
should i watch end of evangelion instead of eps 25-26 of nge

I'm not sure if I remember it correctly but it still seats in my mind even after such long time since I last watched Shinsekai Yori. "Ancient civilizations had a weapon capable of destroying whole cities. They called it atomic bomb. Today much horrible weapon exists. It's called human." (when I got back home I'll try to find it to add who exactly said it).
"Ancient civilizations had a weapon capable of destroying whole cities. They called it atomic bomb. Today much horrible weapon exists. It's called human."
because humans didn't exist when the atomic bomb existed??
i hate these pseudo-intellectual "humans are evil and cruel ;_;" shit

In this world, when you face forward, that's the future.
When you look back, it's a memory.
And if you clip a part of it out, that becomes a story.
Too bad the anime this is from does not exist anymore...

Quack!
evangelion was an odd show and the second half, especially EoE was more like Shinji's bad acid trip
i wouldn't call the show bad or good, it was just strange. But I suppose it was entertaining for the most part. I don't really feel that inclined to look up an explanation of the show though, it feels like it's just meant to not make much sense in the first place. I don't really get the end of EoE at all and reading up on it, it seems no one else knows either.
I only really watched the show to see why everyone likes it so much and I guess I satisfied my curiosity.

evangelion is all about psychology, especially shinji's
eoe is grandiose instanity for the sake of it, which imo brings it down a bit
Like the show didn't really have a purpose or story really I feel. It just had a chain of events that lead into one another that didn't really make much logical sense once it started to distance itself from reality and into acid trip territory.

I get that but in the end It didn't really make me think or question anything. Granted the show is over a decade old and I already knew that the imagery doesn't actually mean anything and is just to look cool, I feel like in the end I didn't really take away a message. It was just nonsensical and psychedelic to me.
the whole story about the angels and the impacts and all that isn't the focus
it's all about what's going on in all the characters' heads
Which is why I felt like the show had no purpose or story. The "I'm so fucked" scene was pretty funny though.
I found the stretch in the middle where things were going kind of well and normal and Shinji wasn't traumatised for a while more confusing than the last two episodes. It's literally just telling you exactly what Shinji/the others is thinking while the animators throw in whatever visuals they could afford with what they could find down the side of the sofa. Just give up on the plot itself and it's pretty straightforward.

I haven't watched EoE yet but I've had the general thing spoiled anyway and I think I like the ending of "shinji overcomes his issues" more than "ALL ABOARD UNCLE ANNO'S WILD RIDE WE'VE GOT A BUDGET NOW SO HOLD ON TIGHT IT'S GONNA BE CRAZY AND NOBODY IS GOING TO BE HAPPY BY THE TIME YOU GET OFF".
Like the show didn't really have a purpose or story really I feel. It just had a chain of events that lead into one another that didn't really make much logical sense once it started to distance itself from reality and into acid trip territory.
Take it has a fucked up growing up story for Shinji. It's a really psychological series and if you don't focus on the characters and such you're gonna be really confused. As for most of the symbolism and such, they're all almost bullshit. It's christian mythology from a japanese depressed man's perspective, it's bound to be warped. You don't need to understand all thats going on. The last 2 episodes of the TV series is basically just a the whole "point" of Shinji's story condenced. They almost spell it out during those 2 episodes.
EOE is more of a animated blast and a better continuation for the series than the weird out of place last 2 episodes.
But this is just my opinion on the series.

This episode of BF was really good. Legitimately great battle, finally the Build Burning gets to demonstrate why it's a melee suit.
Also Snapfag Simon is a cool dude.

I was expecting some TGWTG bullshit, but came away pleasantly surprised.
Rewatching Durarara before s2 starts next season. It's the first non movie anime I rewatch ever lol.
So....
Am I the only one enjoying Amagi Brilliant Park?

All the characters I could ever ask for in an anime are represented somehow; Mexican wrestler, Western Dragon, Jaws/Shark, Crocodile, ect. All mascots, mind you(except maybe the dragon?....).
Also, the OP gets persistently updated as new characters join the park, which is neat.

Hyouka and K-On both had good OPs and EDs (the EDs especially, the second OP for both and the third OP for K-On weren't all that great.)
