To be fair, the poster and first half/two thirds of the premise focus on the five minutes of the first episode when they're in an anime club and sets it up like they're still trying to get into the industry rather than already established in the industry as the show actually is. That is if you even make it to the part where it mentions anime.
The mind sees ultra generic slice of club and shuts off before it can get to the "anime industry" part.

You're going to have to be a little more specific as to (Darker than Black spoilers) [sp]what wish you're referring to. If you mean Suou/Shion's wish for Suou to live a normal, happy life, that's well within the realms of Shion's power, which is to make almost exact copies of whatever he wishes.
The only iffy part is how Shion could set Suou up to actually be "transferred" to the "second Earth", but this is assuming that she did at all and it's not simply set up to appear that way (when in fact Suou dies peacefully on the real Earth, while Suou 2 lives on in the second earth).[/sp]

The TV/anime girls represent escapism, both sexual and otherwise (Though obviously primarily sexual). The first song begins with him looking all happy about it, but as he delves further into it, it becomes more of an addiction that he can't escape from. In the middle of losing himself in it, a bit into the second song, he remembers the happy times he shared with his ex. But then he realized that while running away from the sad memories of the relationship, he got consumed (literally, really) by his addiction to escapism.
Then realizing that it was worth having spent time together with his ex, he gathers the courage to try and fight back again. In the end though, he doesn't make it, and he loses the battle, remaining complacent and sexually satisfied by escapist anime. His decapitated head falling down at the end literally represents him failing to get a life and socially dying.
The video repeats because this is the continuing struggle he's having in his head as he lies in bed all depressed. I'm tempted to do a scene by scene breakdown with screenshots but this is autistic enough already.

Explains a lot of the art though, you've got animators who've worked on Eva, Gurren Lagann, Birdy Decode, KLK, PSG, Gundam 00/UC, Macross, Shiki (which really showed for some reason), the Nanoha movies, Star Driver, etc
on another note most of them also worked on IM@S, Strike Witches, and Dog Days which means they're responsible for some of the best anime ever made
