That is literally the entire premise of the show, how do you miss it?
saw the cover on mal and instantly wrote it off as a shitty school sol by not paying attention correctly.
Well I'm stupid.
saw the cover on mal and instantly wrote it off as a shitty school sol by not paying attention correctly.
Can't blame you really, Reds thought the same until I told him it was about animation.
Can't blame you really, Reds thought the same until I told him it was about animation.
To be fair, the poster and first half/two thirds of the premise focus on the five minutes of the first episode when they're in an anime club and sets it up like they're still trying to get into the industry rather than already established in the industry as the show actually is. That is if you even make it to the part where it mentions anime. The mind sees ultra generic slice of club and shuts off before it can get to the "anime industry" part.
"Hey, it's your birthday, we should celebrate!" *dramatic pose* "I'm going to save the world. I don't have time for birthdays." Sunday Without Birthdays is pretty entertaining. Also, as I paused the show and was clicking through pages to post here, my mother texted me to tell me to email my stepfather to wish him a happy birthday. Weird.
ur stepfathr is actualy anime
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
Epic and hot lol
Well it was certainly something.
Does the director in Shirobako piss anyone else off? He seems like a complete and total manchild
I love the director and all the other fatties, they're so moe in their own special way.
Director is a lazy asshole and reminds me too much of myself in his procrastination. Honda-san is moe though.
does anyone happen to have that gif of shinji screaming at kaworu hitting the blunt so hard his [sp]head explodes[/sp] i need to see it again for reasons
Director is a lazy asshole and reminds me too much of myself in his procrastination. Honda-san is moe though.
It's not that he's lazy, it's more that he fucks everyone else over by doing jack shit
Except for [sp]the ending with that wish bullshit.[/sp]
You're going to have to be a little more specific as to (Darker than Black spoilers) [sp]what wish you're referring to. If you mean Suou/Shion's wish for Suou to live a normal, happy life, that's well within the realms of Shion's power, which is to make almost exact copies of whatever he wishes. The only iffy part is how Shion could set Suou up to actually be "transferred" to the "second Earth", but this is assuming that she did at all and it's not simply set up to appear that way (when in fact Suou dies peacefully on the real Earth, while Suou 2 lives on in the second earth).[/sp] The ending is a bit fucking ass though. Season 3 please Bones.
Wixoss s2 ep8 [sp]Aki-lovely turned from Aki-Broken to Aki-stabby, Ulith got what she deserved after she did that to Tama and Iona[/sp]
finished reading b gata h kei christ, there was so much fluff, i remembered the anime having some too but not this much especially in the second half, it felt like it was 90% irrelevant stuff and 10% romance still really enjoyed it though, but i feel it would've been much better if it hadn't lost direction in the second half
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
Tit guns, what every anime needs. Also I would've liked it better without the vomiting part.
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
animation is great but it's trying way too hard to be weird and disturbing, really just takes me out of it and makes me sigh constantly, same problem as end of evangelion
magic hour.
magic hour.
no it's, "play a shitty gundam mmo and get buttfrusterated that I can't get a damn kill because of all these goddamn feddie beamfags so I resort to playing support class" hour every hour all hour
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
That's pretty damn cool actually, especially with how it [sp]loops at the end. Also, did I just watch that girl puke cum into that dude's mouth and drown him?[/sp]
puke if i was just a tiny bit more rad i would have that as my avatar cause it was so cute

I'll make some if you promise to ban anyone who uses them
DEAL

There is no way in hell that guy is getting another job directing even if Exodus is a success. I hope we get to see at least other other anime being made in Shirobako.
We totally need a director that's like Tomnio in it
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
is this the follow-up to end of evangelion does all return to nothing again
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
So where can I get the actual music?
That's pretty damn cool actually, especially with how it [sp]loops at the end. Also, did I just watch that girl puke cum into that dude's mouth and drown him?[/sp]
Why snowball when you could avalanche? I'll show myself out.
NSFW: http://animatorexpo.com/mememe/ It's a music video from the Japan Animator Expo with some pretty good animation *cough cough* .
Oh I was posting about this in the Videos and Flash forum
The way I'm interpreting it, this guy is depressed after breaking up with his girlfriend. The TV/anime girls represent escapism, both sexual and otherwise (Though obviously primarily sexual). The first song begins with him looking all happy about it, but as he delves further into it, it becomes more of an addiction that he can't escape from. In the middle of losing himself in it, a bit into the second song, he remembers the happy times he shared with his ex. But then he realized that while running away from the sad memories of the relationship, he got consumed (literally, really) by his addiction to escapism. Then realizing that it was worth having spent time together with his ex, he gathers the courage to try and fight back again. In the end though, he doesn't make it, and he loses the battle, remaining complacent and sexually satisfied by escapist anime. His decapitated head falling down at the end literally represents him failing to get a life and socially dying. The video repeats because this is the continuing struggle he's having in his head as he lies in bed all depressed. I'm tempted to do a scene by scene breakdown with screenshots but this is autistic enough already. [editline]a[/editline] The rampant sexuality is very likely just because the animators felt like it though it'd be a very Gainax thing to do, I mean Anno decided to throw crosses and christian terminology all over Evangelion because "it sounded/looked cool" so, uh, yeah

Toshiyuki SATO Yukiko FURUSAWA Shinji ITADAKI Takahiro SASAKI Satoshi GOKASHIWA Akira YAMASHITA Shingo YAMASHITA Shūhei HANDA Shota IBATA Shou SUGAI Shinichi NOZAKI Shin'ya KITAMURA Hiroshi KATO (art director) That's a lot of talent for a 7 minute video Explains a lot of the art though, you've got animators who've worked on Eva, Gurren Lagann, Birdy Decode, KLK, PSG, Gundam 00/UC, Macross, Shiki (which really showed for some reason), the Nanoha movies, Star Driver, etc on another note most of them also worked on IM@S, Strike Witches, and Dog Days which means they're responsible for some of the best anime ever made [editline]a[/editline] it was actually weirding me out how much the video looked like shiki for some reason and that explains a lot also birdy decode in that last song
[editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] the eva/GL/psg referencing/theme was great though and seriously it reminded me so much of shiki for some reason, though I can't put my finger on it I think its the eyes or something
