Oh man, up until now PsychoPass 2 had been redeemable. Deeply, DEEPLY flawed but if they just pulled a number of really good episodes then maybe they could tie everything together and give context to the madness. But after episode 7 it's like everyone (including the writer) had lobotomies.

I like how Ippo basically just calls him a fucking pussy for complaining that the referee didn't do shit about the blatant cheating. This was probably the most ridiculous scene in the show because they even had the crowd shouting at the guy for being upset that he lost.
I think it happens a lot less after this point though.

Lineart quality is lower and Lenessia took a very hard hit since she's lost all of her expressions, but other than that it's fine. Action is fine too.
The rest of the staff is exactly the same. Even if it visually looked like garbage the rest would be fine.

What does slots have to do with anything? I don't want anyone on my friends list that I have no interest in having on it.
1) Do I talk to this person?
2) Would I ever have to talk to this person?
3) Do I personally care about this person?
If none of those criterias fits I will just remove them, no reason given. Having people on my friends list just because we hang out on Fast Anime isn't a good enough reason. That's just part of the cult-behaviour people seem obsessed by, which is why we for whatever reason have a FA group on steam and MAL despite being unused and having absolutely no benefits, this thread is already a community, extending it doesn't make sense.
If you never talk to somebody and they suddenly remove you, shouldn't that speak for itself? If you never talk together then why be surprised if that person stops having you as a friend?

At the very least it's only this guy who has been cartoonishly evil, pretty much all of Ippo's opponents are honourable or sympathetic. Even the featherweight world champion's alignment falls solidly into neutral.
Takamura is an over the top character to begin with who breezed his way through pretty much all of his other fights other than the one fight where he was in comically poor condition, I guess the author figured he needed somebody completely crazy to be his greatest opponent.

On top of his attitude the guy is physically ridiculous. His very introduction states that he literally never trains, he's somehow managed to casually stroll his way to being the world champion using nothing but natural ability. Which is used to put emphasis on how Takamura has to basically murder himself and lose twenty kilos before every match to fit his weight class.
