Those compilation videos are probably the best way to watch it to be honest, the characters never shut up so after a while you start to get tired of the jokes that aren't delivered very well
Just finished the FMA original series, is Brotherhood worth watching?
I don't know much about FMA but I haven't heard anyone say what the original series did better than Brotherhood, if anything.

Better question is why you watched the original series at all, there's very few redeeming qualities it has.

They did [sp]Tucker's plot[/sp] better overall in my opinion.

brotherhood is probably the best between the two, yeah you should watch it

the original is like 70-80% anime original content, while Brotherhood follows the manga. They do end up with similar endings due to the author already having the idea of how she wanted to end the manga by the time of near the end of the original.

you poor soul, how did you survive the original series.
i enjoyed watching the original series since i watched it first
it's just that brotherhood is objectively better
Goddammit Sora on Method [sp]Just when it seems like headphone bitch is going to douche that sand out of her fucking vagina, she goes and shoves the Sahara Desert back in it over Noel or some shit. Like really, what the fuck is she getting all pissy about this time. After such a touching reunion, she's going to go be a bitch again and probably, once again, not explain her likely petty, dumb reason for it.[/sp]
The ending to the original FMA is just so... unsatisfying.

You make me so glad I dropped it after ep1.
You make me so glad I dropped it after ep1.
That didn't even explain [sp]Why she was being such a bitch to begin with. It's because she wanted to watch the fucking meteor shower with Nonoka. That's why. She wanted to watch a fucking meteor shower, and got pissed when Nonoka didn't come back. It's literally just as petty as Yuzuki's reason for hating Nonoka, which was that it was Nonoka's idea to summon the saucer that she hates so much because she ran away from home one time and Souta got hurt looking for her, so she blamed the saucer instead of herself. They're so petty and dumb. The thing is, that pettiness is believable, because people really can be that petty and immature, and just like in real life, that petty hatred they cling to for so long means so much to them, but is stupid as fuck to any outside observer.[/sp]

At least it had [sp]Hitler[/sp] in it.

I'm glad "headphones bitch" is catching on.
Yeah, it's probably some really contrived reason again.
The whole thing is just as stupid as "drive out the saucer" girl's reason for being a bitch.
[sp]"Hey Noel."
"Hi Headphones! How are you?"
"Good. You?"
"I'm a flying saucer."
"That's nice to hear."
"Why don't you like Nonoka?"
"She's a liar. She never came back to town. That's why I've been such a bitch to her."
"...But she did come back to town. You've been a bitch to her... in town."
"SHIT I DIDN'T THINK OF THAT"
-Several hours later-
"Oh hey Headphones. I made this planetarium just for you. Please stop being such a bitch."
"Why did you leave town? Why didn't you come back to watch the meteor shower with me?"
"Well, my mom was kind of dying, so..."
"That doesn't excuse it. You must have just been lying to me."
"Seriously my mom is dead, you were at her fucking grave the other day"
"You're right, I'm sorry, I couldn't trust my friend. Let's be friends again!"
"Fucking finally!"
-Several more hours later-
"Ah, Noel is so cute. Saying things like 'be friends with Nonoka' and 'the meteor shower is going to be nice this year' and 'I'm a flying saucer'.
...
WAIT A SECOND"
-Next day-
"Nonoka, we can no longer be friends, even though we made up literally last night."
"Why? What changed?"
"Absolutely nothing has changed."
"Then why?"
"...I want to keep the flying saucer all to my self."[/sp]
Or maybe it's because [sp]Nonoka hasn't given Noel her ticket yet.[/sp]
Or maybe because [sp]"Do you guys really think we summoned the flying saucer?"
"Yes."
"Well I disagree, no we didn't, you guys are dumb. Stop lying to me."
"Hi, I'm Noel, I'm here to tell you that you're 100% completely fucking wrong, you guys explicitly summoned me, the flying saucer."
"OH MY GOD WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS LIE TO ME"[/sp]
Or maybe because it's a Tuesday. Who the fuck knows.
Or maybe because it's a Tuesday. Who the fuck knows.
But it's still Monday...
Also [sp]She has on way of knowing who gave the tickets to Noel, for all she knows Nodoka did. She wasn't there when they gave them to Noel, but I do still expect her to just magically know that Nodoka didn't and get pissy though.[/sp]
And the guy in Hiroshima I ordered that Mahjong set from still hasn't shipped it yet. I was hoping to have it Thursday. He said he'd ship it Monday (there), but I got no confirmation of such. I'm hoping he does it Tuesday(there) because if it ships express air mail to Toronto later tonight(here) it could still get here Thursday.
Speaking of, I've forgotten the name of the little girl in Saki who loves tacos. I've watched it once already and I'm re-watching it again, and that doesn't help. I just call her "Tacos" like Kyou-chan did.

It's Yuuki.
Speaking of her, her getting a serious no-bullshit attitude in the semifinals match wasn't something I had ever expected.

It's all fixed now.
Just finished watching Lovely Complex, I'd give it 8/10 shoujo points.
I'm not a fan of Ippo's increasing dependence on his finisher in Rising. The end of New Challenger basically just goes "we can refocus his boxing, or we can put all of our points into his finisher and base him entirely around it, despite it proving to be a massive hinderance against counters and increasingly less useful as people come up with ways to defeat it. Fuck it, full steam ahead forget everything except the dempsey roll".
Just browsing CR....
"wait what..."

the GTO live action was pretty okay
somewhat
kinda
in a horribly cheesy way
I still need to watch live action Cromartie.
Oh yay, vivid finally released the subs on a tuesday night. I really need to learn japanese so i can watch all those delicious raws.
I'm going away to japan/korea in fucking 3 weeks. I'm going to be in Tokyo on new years eve and probably be out partying somewhere, so i can't watch the new monogatari. It's quite ironic isn't it? So close, yet so far away.
The ending to the original FMA is just so... unsatisfying.
did you watch the movie too
i can't really enjoy the original properly after watching brotherhood but i still really enjoy the movie that takes place after the original series

Oh man the opening for The Conqueror of Shamballa brings back memories

It took twenty episodes but Wixoss is officially a wild ride now. Absolutely nothing makes sense and they've stopped even the slightest attempts at pretending to be card games and is just doing whatever the fuck it wants with the battles now, which is impressive considering how little they were following a card game format before.
It's batshit and nothing makes sense, time to see it through to the end and see just how little is explained.

As a person who only watched Brotherhood,How is that movie anyway?
I like the idea behind the setting so I could potentially just look at it as a spin-off

there's also the Sacred Star of Milos too, which can be watched if you seen brotherhood
I advise not to watch The Conqueror of Shamballa unless you've seen the original
