also annoying is when scanlation groups drop mangas that nobody else is translating
ran into this problem with mao marimo
the worst example of this though is sougou tovarisch, where the original translator translated chapters 1-5 and then 13, which is the last chapter
thank god another scanlation group picked that up though, nothing more annoying than never getting a conclusion of any sort at all

You know what's annoying? One guy translating every volume of a manga except for the last one, right at the climax, and then quitting.
Or: seeing there's a new manga being translated, with just the first chapter out. Read the first chapter, "wow, I'm really excited to see what happens next!"
It goes untranslated for a year and a half, but when another group finally puts out the second chapter: "...wow, I can see why no one picked this up. This is kind of shit. I was happier with my imagination of the following chapters."
