Basically, (akame anime spoilers)[sp]they skipped a huge fight, then an entire arc, then took bits from the first skipped fight and shoved them after the events of the latest manga chapter in order to avoid a huge cliffhanger, then killed off Mine when so far in the manga she is not dead.[/sp] it's a mess.

weird, a few members have had them as avatars for at least a year now
the characters were basically OC designed to sell catgirl related merchandise and occasionally hentai doujinshi by nekoworks among other things
the game is an eroge that's getting simultaneously released in japanese/english
probably one of the first VNs to do so?
