There's only one con worth going to a year here because all of the other ones I've gone to have increasingly suffered from one fatal error: 95% of the stores are selling identical merch. I am not fucking exaggerating, you'll walk from one place to another and they look identical because they're all selling the same fucking thing. And even worse, they're selling to two audiences: The Minecraft kiddies and the Big Bang Theory audience, so the merch is shit. There's hardly any people selling their own stuff either. At best a few art prints and some comics.
I went to a con once and got traumatised for life.
Buying merch at a con sounds like a bad idea unless they have stuff that is usually sold out everywhere (Like older figs) and/or exclusives. Buying stuff that can be bought online is just asking to be ripped off. I still can't see the appeal of cons unless you're a cosplayer or you enjoy getting ripped off.
Well the con at my place has a pretty big art section where people sell doujins and shit which is the only reason I go there. Don't know why the hell any of my friends go there, they don't even watch anime and I'm sure as hell they're not there to watch the MAHVEL tourney

Anyone been watching shigatsu wa kimi no uso? Just watched like 8 eps in a row, really enjoying it.

How does Aldnoah even get S2, it was terrible
How does Aldnoah even get S2, it was terrible
it was decided from the start

Idolmaster vs. Love Live? Tomoaki Ayano(Street Fighter 4), Toshimichi Mori(Blazblue), and Takahara Terada(Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX) Discuss Dream Fighting Game Projects
As part of last week’s issue, Dengeki PlayStation gathered together a group of prominent fighting game developers for a roundtable interview on the genre. Unfortunately, the whole article has yet to be translated, but one interesting topic has slipped out about what kind of fighter each figure would create given the chance. Capcom’s Tomoaki Ayano started out by saying he would move away from the 2D gameplay the company has come to be known for in titles like Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom in favor of a more three-dimensional, team-based game similar to Bandai Namco Games’ Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. series. Both Toshimichi Mori of Arc System Works (best known for his work on BlazBlue) and Sega’s Takahara Terada (director on Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX) expressed interest in developing a fighting game centered on the popular idol franchise Love Live!, though in very different capacities. As a Dengeki property, Terada is hoping to include characters from the series (as well as other companies’ light novels) should they be given the greenlight to create a sequel to FIGHTING CLIMAX, while Mori would rather pair them up with The Idolmaster to form a unique crossover title.
blazblue director officially interested in idolmaster x love live crossover fighting game this is nutssssssss

imagine actually using your birthdate as your phone password i just use 2112 cause it's a good rush song
imagine actually using your birthdate as your phone password i just use 2112 cause it's a good rush song
But those are not their own birthdates. Those are each other's birthdates.
I was expecting Yuuki Yuna to be a poor man's Madoka, I'm glad it decided to set a mood and take its time rather than go for an episode three. The show wouldn't be nearly as good if it was just "everything is great wait some of us died in that last fight oh no we're madoka now".
how do i get into fate stay night and is the sol shit canon or is it just a spin off, like the sol gurren lagann things
Final reminder, entry closes tonight at 18:00 GMT and the winners will be announced at 18:30. If you've missed it the last two times I nagged about it, this is what's going on.
I'll be doing a bit of a christmas giveaway quite soon. Anyone who's interested in participating can leave a message on my profile basically just saying you want in. I don't know what the limit is for how many people are displayed in a rating list and I don't want to risk missing some of you. I am aware that there are scripts available to remedy that, but this is just a bit more convenient for me. Those who enter will be added to a pool, and 3 people will be randomly selected from said pool. The prizes are thus: #1. Any item for a value of something approximately worth £35. #2 & 3. Any item for a value of something approximately worth £25. If you're selected, I ask that you contact me via PM and tell me what you want. Doesn't matter if it's a digital or physical item. If physical, I will cover the cost of the shipping, but not any taxes or fees levied against you. The rules are pretty simple, it can be ANYTHING YOU WANT (As long as it's not explicitly illegal in your country of residence) and that I can have sent to you for a reasonable sum. If the shipping gets too expensive, I might ask that you select a lighter/smaller item. NO money transfers. I get that this'd be the most convenient for some of you, but I want to do this to give someone something they want, not to just pad out their wallet. Lastly, understand that while I've set aside money for this for a while, circumstances may change. If a surprise expense comes along that I can't postpone, I will have to prioritise it. However, once I'm back on my feet financially, I will contact you again and we can work out what you want. Entry closes at November 30th.
Apologies if this is getting annoying.
yeah this is really annoying how dare you offer to give people free things you bastard
how do i get into fate stay night and is the sol shit canon or is it just a spin off, like the sol gurren lagann things
What sol things? And play the VN if possible, or just watch the airing one. Actually for anime it's pretty weird since you either have a choice of watching Zero first (Don't recommend since it's a prequel) or the airing one, but since it's UBW, aka the second route, it doesn't explain a lot of things although Ufotable seems to be doing their best to make it so you can watch it without knowing anything about Fate. Garo episode 9 really made up for the shit episode 7 and decent but kinda uneventful other than some backstory episode 8. Lots of good, well-animated action, a creative Horror, and setting up somebody fairly well. [editline]1st December 2014[/editline] Oh come on. I had a dream last night where Orkel banned me from this thread for posting a Canadian stereotype without spoiler tags. I can't even remember what it was, or if it even related to anime, I just know it was in this thread.
canadians drink milk in bags lol also why is this (nfsw) image one of the first google image results for "bagged milk"
