Oh hey, I didn't notice that I reached my next milestone, entry number 600 on my MAL list.
Apparently it happened almost a month ago with Chihayafuru S2. I must have noticed, forgotten and then noticed again now.

They sell a 3-pack of that stuff for $40 at the government liquor store that I'm debating picking up, it has that Junmai Ginjo, a Junmai, and a Nigori Coconut.
If you're looking for something good, I had this great Nigori sake called Hakutsuru Sayuri that was only $8 for 300mL. Also any sake made by Izumi of the North/Ontario Springwater Sake is good too, and it's brewed here in Toronto. Not sure how far-reaching their brand is, though.
Sake isn't really my thing, tried some high quality one a few months back and it's just strange. Drinkable, but it doesn't hit the spot. Whisky, porters/stouts and IPAs all the way when it comes to alcohol.

I like my Lager, Ale, Liqueur, and whiskeys
I'll drink basically anything that isn't tequila or has a coffee flavour to it myself, so that knocks stouts out of the equation, and the only IPA I like is Alexander Keith's.
I still have yet to try Shochu, though, and when it costs $40/bottle at the liquor store, it'll be a while yet still.
