ryuuji = meek guy with "scary" face that is misunderstood by his classmates. dark hair, relatively tall
taiga = overly violent loli-thing who's tsundere as fuk. rumors spread about how violent she is in class but she's realtively meek. light hair, really short
gosick
kujo = meek guy with black hair who is compared to "death" or whateves, basically misunderstood by his classmates. obviously dark hair, taller
victorique = nerdy genius bookworm, who's gossiped about in her class. pretty obviously like kujo after he saves her in the first arc but relationship doesn't progress since this is set in a time period where men make the first move and kujo didn't like her romantically at this point. blonde/light hair, relatively short
For the most part the Guy MCs are pretty similar, but the Girl MCs are not at all similar.
In both animes the Guys are misunderstood in their class, tall, and have dark hair.
The relationship in toradora doesn't really progress because they pussy foot around for the entire thing until the end where they finally confess only to be separated
The relationship in gosick starts off as a friendship and slowly builds into a relationship where kujo basically provides emotional support for victorique. Then shortly after they realize how much they couldn't live without the other person, they're separated.
and then in both animes they meet up after a few years pass at the end of the anime and continue their relationship

It's legitimately great, the show acknowledges just how ridiculous it and its idea are and uses that to its fullest extent.
