Fast Anime - General - Facepunch Forum

Generally if an anime adaption shits itself and starts to make things up as it goes along, I switch to the manga. Which is why I haven't tried Soul Eater despite being decently interested in it. Everybody refuses to tell me when it departs from the manga in the final season whenever I ask.

Just finished Watamote, I have a weird mix of traumatic social anxiety flashbacks from childhood on top of being kind of disappointed it's over

New Shingeki no Kyojin chapter was released early today. Good action throughout[sp]Jean and Connie finally slice up some niggas, Sasha shooting down fools with her bow, and more typical Mikasa and Levi shit. Hange took a 3DMG hook to the shoulder and wiped out pretty bad, but I think she'll be ok since it wouldn't make sense for the head of the Survey Corps to be taken out after Erwin just stepped down. Some more developments on Eren's end about the coordinate power, and it looks like Kenny is going to betray Rod Reiss for his own purposes or for some other organization we haven't heard about.[/sp]

It's the type of show where I don't want to say too much about it but expect the show to take its time. There is no "episode 3" moment where everything explodes all at once. For quite a while I was expecting it until I realised that that's just not how the show is handling itself. If you're interested, go ahead and watch it. Also a few people have confused something about the show, it's not written by the Akame ga Kill author, only the prequel LN is.
