It's interesting how Yuuki Yuna comes from a studio of former Gonzo employees, and they've only made seven or eight shows that are all adaptions of mid-range to unmemorable quality. It looks like their first anime original is something they put a lot of heart into.

So it's actually good? It completely disinterested me at the start of the season with its school setting and generic looking artstyle but everyones talkin about it so maybe I'll pick it up.

It's more like it just takes its damn time. I'm not sure if you lose or gain anything by not having the week's gap between episodes. If you want it to get to the point obviously having it all in front of you would help.
See they failed to market it to me because I like mahou shoujo but it's not mentioned anywhere that I saw.
Good OST is always a bonus. Picked up.

also yeah iphone + surface pro + powerful desktop computer at home seems like the ideal combination

nuh uh laptops are gay, they're too much of a compromise between power and mobility
i lugged my 16.5" 5 million kg laptop cross country on a flight, had to shove it in other luggage because TSA be all like consolidate, my bag broke my shoulder (not literally)
ended up turning it on maybe three times to check my email
all i need when i'm away from home from a computer is internet access and basic office functions, i'd rather not carry around a bulkier heavier laptop

I can't really see the point of a tablet when you could get a similarly sized and weighted laptop. There's a perfectly solid argument for a tablet if your laptop is bulky though.
I believe more in the dream of a keyboard for your phone that isn't shit than the actual portrayal in the episode anyway
My phone would replace my laptop for all outdoor excursions into the horrifying white light but I can't code on a phone.

That's actually why I bought myself a tablet. Well, that and it was Win8.1 and only $99. I have a massive 17" laptop that weighs a metric fuckton, and I would always lug it to school whenever I'd have a break between classes. Now I can just bring a nice, lightweight tablet that has bluetooth connectivity, and stuff a bluetooth keyboard and mouse in my pocket if I decide I need a fully-functional Windows computer.
Though I kinda have all of those things, a powerful desktop, a giant, powerful laptop, a tablet, and a good phone. Then I have my old desktop, my sister's old desktop, my old netbook, the old laptop I bought from work... I should probably either throw out my old shit or make a Linux test lab in my bedroom.
