Well, Chaika is over. It was a fun ride considering how much of a rushed trainwreck this second season has been. I heard the series is doing pretty poorly in Japan, so Bones only got enough budget for 10 episodes to finish the story. You could see that there was a whole lot of QUALITY this season. I'm kinda curious about the LNs since it has a lot more details and the story pacing probably isn't as fucked. [sp]Also character designs like Dragoon Toru are we better in the LN https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12908236/pictures/tya_09_355.png [/sp]At least there's an OVA or something coming in March but it'll probably take forever for it to get translated since the fansubbers won't have a Crunchyroll script to copy off of.
Light novels being picked up officially is a good thing and a terrible thing.
Let's look at one series I was reading. Got picked up early in the year. Volume one released in July, volume 2 released in November. Volume 3 releases in March next year. There are 16 volumes so far, and the fan translations stopped once it got picked up. I'll have fun catching up when I'm dead.

Chaika ended as best it could given the budget. No regrets calling it one of my top 5 animes of the year

Watch the first broadcasted episode first, the one where the entire episode is the unbelievably shitty home-movie they make, then watch the rest in chronological order. I made the mistake of watching it after the arc where they film it and that arc wasn't nearly as good as it could have been as a result.
All that talk about Chaika makes me want to watch it. I have the whole second season to go through.

The order is confusing as fuck since there's four different ordering systems, so tell me what subs you're using so I can make sure that the episode number I give you is the correct one.

Why is the image sideways, you may ask? Because I have no fucking clue how photos work and if I make it the right way up in the thumbnail it's sideways in the full image when opened in another tab, and if I make it sideways in the full image then it's the right way up in the thumbnail.
