sorry but haruhi's arbitrary airing order in s1 is fucking retarded, it serves no point other than to make the show seem deeper than it is.
If you were talking about something like say, Kara No Kyoukai, which is meant to be seen in a weird out of place timeline order I'd agree, but haruhi is not one of these, they only did it so s1 would have a better ending, but if you watch it with s2 and the movie now that removes that problem and thus the need to watch haruhi s1 in retard order.

idk where you got the whole "deep" idea from, but i prefer the airing order because it makes the anime a lot more interesting
without it i'd say it's a good anime but overall forgettable, but with the weird airing order i kept going "what are they talking about here" or "who's this" and that made me extra invested in it
if you don't like that then watch it in (babby) chronological order, but imo the airing order is a much better experience

I watched it all in airing order and it's fine either way imo
Movies the best part anyway, you can watch s1 and s2 backwards or whatever the fuck you want it'll still work pretty well. Long as you watch the movie last you're set.
