A few months ago I decided that I might as well rewatch the first season of Digimon for the first time in many a year, since the weird sequel thing is coming in a couple of seasons. Then I got to episode 21, the episode directed by him. Then I stopped.
That episode is basically the best episode in the entire franchise, there is nowhere to go after that. It's kinda hard to go back to the still good but normal stuff after that. It helps that the animation takes a massive bump in that episode. I really need to watch Summer Wars.

Could someone just briefly summarize which animes are cool now. I did hear something about Tokyo Ghoul or something but that's about it

tokyo ghoul, grisaia (first 2 eps suck) and akame ga kill are the hottest of the cool now (akame ga kill started like shit tho only the last few eps hav been good)
